Brought Car to the Dealer today

Well I finally had enough of Sweating my A$$ off in the heat waiting for the A/C to cool the car down by blowing only out the Defrost! I Called Yesterday for the appointment and they said bring it in this Morning.I drop the car off by 8am, I told them my issue, By 3:30pm I get a call and they tell me that the Selector Switch in the dash is bad and they wont be able to get one til Late Thursday Afternoon or Friday Morning. The Dealer then asked me If I wanted them to put the car back together and have me pick it up, then bring it back when the part arrived So I wouldnt be without a vehicle. I Told them to leave it apart and call me when its completed, This way there is no rush job on it and its back together correctly. But Thanks for asking! I also Brought the Car in Fully Modded, Airbox and all my bolt-ons left on the car. They didnt say a word and I can expect to have my car back Friday! I shall follow up on what was done!

I'm happy you found a dealership that was willing to work with you.

When you get your Marauder back, just make sure you walk around it and take a good look.
My dealership is actually making me bring it in after their lunch
and waiting for it, whenever I need service.
The Service Manager is so busy with cars, that he doesn't want to chance that my Marauder gets dinged in his standing room only parking lot!
So he tells me bring it down, I'll put it in the service bay, and you can relax while we take care of things.

With service like this, I'm NEVER going to give up this car !!!

What's a selector switch and installation cost? My A/C is blowing out the defroster vents atop the dash and the heat vents that blow on your feet.

When I Get the Car back, They usually list the parts replaced and a part number with it, Ill pass on the part number and item description. If I remember correct, This item was quite costly according to other members who had this replaced. As for the dealer, I Now Im worried about dings! They parked it out in the back and I have no clue what My car was parked next to during the day or what happened to it! I brought them the car Clean in/out, Generally if they see that you take care of your car, They'll be sure to take care of it as well.

Service Reciept says:
Replaced Control Assembly-Air Conditioner- 19980A

Then it gives the part 3W7Z*19980*AA Control

There is no price on the bill because its under Warranty it says N/C, But Im sure someone was stuck having to lay out for this item out of their pocket and definitly remembers how much it cost!

Check with Ray "The Dealer" for a price... Called Ray on Monday for two rear sway bar end links for my '97 T-Bird, had the parts by Thursday eventhough they had to be ordered. Saved me $20.00+ including the shipping!!
