My 04 DTR was sold by dealer yesterday at Plant City Florida by
Jarrett Ford......I beleive they let it go for 22,700. The buyer called me
before buying it wanting the history on it which I gave him. I also gave
him the MM.net info and how to get on here.....Hope he does. I informed
him of the wealth of info he can get here and the great bunch of people
that are on here.....

They gave me a good deal as they couldn't belive anyone older than Al would want a HOTRAUD. Car is as new, perfect. Better than new with the mods. This car has had better care than my wife! Looking to get involved here. Thanks to Al for a great car and advice. :pimp:

Welcome Hotrauder! You won't regret it one bit. I know Al's already done some stuff to her so that should make things easier on your mod budget. :)

Hey I am glad someone that will enjoy it got the car.....I kinda miss it in
a way but I am enjoying the Mustang GT which I have modded with
Flowmasters and MGW close ratio shifter already....I am wondering about
maybe putting 4:10's in the stang but I don't know.. might be a bit much for
the stock engine.....I'll comminicate with Dennis R. about gear options later
to see what he thinks would be good....I don't want to do anything to the
engine.......not even a tuner....but I'll have to get a "Speed Cal" if I go with
gears I guess....
Again glad "HOTRauder" got the MM and is enjoying it....it should treat him
good for many miles....I did baby it.....

3.73 gears in the Stang won't hurt.

Al,

Use this gear calculator I posted today. http://www.svtoa-atlanta.org/cgi-bin/trans.cgi

You have a 3650 in that one, so just select from the pulldown. You can compare any gear choice you want to stock and even change tire size.
It will let you pick max rpm, cruise rpm and whatever rpm you make best power at (5400 or so on the GT). It will also give you rpms at 5 mph increments for whatever combos you are comparing.

Here are a couple of decent sites that can answer any question you want.

http://www. (http://www.svtoa-atlanta.org/cgi-bin/trans.cgi)stangnet.com

Most of the guys will swear the 4.10's are the greatest for an NA stang, but you can use the gear calculator to compare anything.

I used it to find that the MM I have been test driving has 3.73's in it. :)
