Has anyone got any comparisons of 1/4 mile times between 92/93 octane tunes and 100 octane race fuel tunes in normally aspirated MMs? I have a separate SCT tune with the timing bumped up for 100 octane unleaded and am curious as to how much improvement I can expect when I go to the track. Thanks.

How are you going to get pure 100 octane to the engine??? A separate tank??
I don't believe you will see any significant improvement in 1/4 mile times but I might be wrong?? ;)
I think someone on this site has done this and can give first hand experience!!

Marauderjack :bandit:Simple, We have 100 octane available at the pump here in Central Florida. I'll let my tank run low and pump it in the normal way. If there's too much gas remaining, I'll pump it out from the fuel rail by remotly turning on the FP and pumping into a fuel container.
The car will develope more horsepower with an additional 3 or 4 degrees of timing (or however much my tuner installed in the race tune). Should go faster.

Why would he need a seperate tank?
He could just put it in his existing tank like I do.
