Actually, since I bought the car in Jan and the gears in May it isn't like I waited a REAL long time.

Gears are in, drove the car gingerly (trying to observe a 500 mile break in period). The car just seems sooo much more responsive and "tight". Granted I only spent a little time at 75mph - 80mph so I don't know how it will be at the nearly 90mph we often cruise out in these western states. But on the bottom side it just seems if the 2 ton beast suddenly got some lightened dancing shoes or something. I'm not saying it makes the car feel fast.... it just makes it feel... nimble! Also feels as if it is coiled or excited all the time... opposed to the lazy feel it had before.

Yup... the 4.10s .. I know everyone was preaching them... but somethings have to be experienced individually to determine if they are liked.

Me like 'em !

Yep, I think you hit the nail on the head with your description of the dance shoes. I agree, it doesn't make it noticebly fast under normal driving conditions, but there is a very distinct difference when you smash that right foot down.

Have fun, stay safe and start working on your next mod. . . . .

I think we all agree that when this car came out, 4.10's should have been there from the start. I love mine (when my car was running) And have never regreted having them changed. Now, you may want to think of a nice new driveshaft.
