Under the Belt Tension Pulley I have what Looks like Never Seize Dripping out of it, I thought It was oil from my U/D Pulley Change But I was Mistaken!
My Belt Tension Bounces a bit at idle so I assume this means Its bad and Im just vibrating the Guts out of it??? The Belt Dont Squeal and its Tight But the Grease is making a mess and Im not sure about the bounce!

Just out of curiousity, how many miles do you have on your Marauder?

there is no fluid in the tensioner.. just a bearing...and they bounce normally....doesnt mean they are bad...

Mine leaks out the same oily/greasy mess every so often and did shake badly before my under drive pullies. It has 38k and has done this ever sence I bought it in 2002. Clean it up and see how/when it comes back. Mine depends mostly on how fast I spin the engine.

The pulley is a sealed bearing with lube inside..
If the oily residue is coming from the bearing it should be
replaced the bearing is on its way out...:(

I have 33k miles on my Marauder. The Silver Grease is all over the front of the engine, So its only a matter of time before it seizes and kills the belt. I wiped it down yesterday and I plan to keep a eye on it. I have U/D Pullies and its still bounces pretty bad. Any Idea what this item costs and is it covered under warranty??
Thanks for the Info

Yes, warranty will cover it.
I believe the tensioner assembly is less than $30 if you have to buy one.

Local L/M dealer replaced my squeaking tensioner pulley under waranty and my underdrive pulleys were not an issue to them. In fact, they installed them last year.

I just sent my car to the dealer fully modded, They didnt think twice about anything. If its only $30 then ill pick one up and throw it in, Its saves me the hassle of getting to work late and then having to take time out to go pick it up.Thanks you for the info!

It is frequently recommended to change the tensioner with any
belt changes as the pivot and the rollers wear regularly..they
will cause the belt to burn or be thrown off..This should always be
considered a regular maintenance item...This will save you being stranded
and the cost of a tow and extra belt in future..$30-45 USD $50 -65 CAD..:D

Is the shipping going to outweigh the savings?

Take your Marauder to your DEALER.
There is a TSB on the tensioner.
They will replace TENSIONER AND BELT.
My Tensioner started to squeak around 30,000 miles.
My Dealership replaced it and the belt without asking any questions.
Tensioners are NOT normal maintenace items.
I've never had a tensioner go bad or need replacement before the Marauder.
Just take it back to your Dealership.
