Anyone from the NY/ LI area attending MVIII and if so when are you leaving ? I am looking to see if anyone is interested in driving there in a mini convoy. Only a few weeks to go!

Check the Home Page .... it is chocked full of info and threads on Marauderville III, August 17-21 in Detroit. There is also a separate forum for Marauderville III (MV III) activities. :rolleyes:

No Im actually not. I havent been on this site long enough to know all the get-togethers. Detroit is a bit out of the way for me!

A couple of hotel rooms have opened up recently due to members having to cancel their plans to attend Marauderville III (MVIII)....if you are interested in joining us, check with Dave (MI2QWK4U) who organized the event.
MVIII is in Detroit to coincide with the Woodward Dream Cruise, which is about the biggest cruise in the world. :banana: :banana2:

It is going to be INCREDIBLE!

For me:

MV-I was in Ennis Texas. 1218 miles each way.
MV-II was in Indianapolis, Indiana. 316 miles each way.
MV-III will be in Detriot, Mi. 167 miles each way.

MV-IV May very well be 971 miles each way....AND I HOPE IT IS!!!!
I wouldn't miss these events no matter how much fussing and fighting that goes on amongst local clubs. No way, no how. I Maraud, and that's what I do.

These are our NATIONAL meets and you have the op to hang out with as many as 100 Marauders and even more members.

Detroit may be your closest for awhile.;)

MV I happened before I got my MM. I sat here and ate my heart out watching the postings, pics, and good times at MV II. Made up my mind right then and there that I was not gonna miss MV III. :D

So is anyone from the NY area planning on leaving Tuesday and if so would you be interested in driving up together? Just want to know if it is possible to get a few of us together for the ride up.

I will be traveling up on Tuesday (sometime) from the Baltimore area.

We're leaving on Wednesday sometime in the late morning. I would love to join anyone passing through Cleveland at that time. I-90 and I-80 are doable. Let me know.
