Thanks chapel!

We had an absolute blast! Gonna take weeks to wipe this grin off my face! I was doing up to 117 at the end of the straights. It handled pretty good.

Although I couldn't give the Vettes or the Porcshes a run for their money, I surprised a lot of people with how well this big car did!

Incredibly great group of people that put this event on! I highly recommend it to anyone in the Southern California area!

The kid was a trooper! He got some video of the day that he is editing into a nice little clip. If I can figure out how to post it, I'll share it here!

He wants to drive my Cougar next time we go, and he suggested my wife bring her Sable on to the track.:D

Again...we had a great time and can't wait to do it again!

I was thinking all that speed and cornering, they just poped right off! Ya know, like the old time hub caps.

Hopefully no one got hurt trying to pick up what they thought were silver dollars rolling down the track! :lol:

Damn...you are just so observant it's scary!

The center caps were removed so there would be no chance of them coming off on their own.

I had the Marauder serviced the day before the event. They did the tech inspection for me, including removing the caps. Filled out the form and everything. I just bought em some pizza. Didn't even charge me!
