Preliminary Flight Plan for MV III (VA start)

I am planning my flight plan to arrive at the host hotel between 3-3:30 PM, Wednesday, 17 August. :D

Depart Rancho Bluerauder at 5 AM via I-95/495/270/70/76/80/280/75.

Estimated layovers/rest/gas stops are:

Exit 146 Rest Stop, I-76 Pennsylvania Turnpike (Bedford, PA) between 8-8:30 AM :coolman:

Exit 193 Rest Stop, I-80 Ohio Turnpike (~ 37 miles past I-76/80 Junction at Austintown, OH) between 11:30 AM - 12:00 Noon. :burnout:

Hook up with CRUZTAKER and mpearce at Exit 173 rest stop around 12:20 !!

Passing though junction I-280/I-75 around 2:15 PM :confused:

Arrive Exit 63, I-75 and 12 Mile Road around 3:20 PM enroute to host hotel. :bows:

Heather and I will be heading up to MVIII on Wednesday around 1200. We live in Cleveland, and could easily hook up with you on I-80 somewhere near Cleveland if you'd like. Let me know if you'd like to hook up. We'd like to be in Detroit early enough to get dinner at Capers with the crew. Let me know.

I am also planning on dinner at Caper's. Times have been planned so that I can check in at the hotel, knock off the road dust, change clothes and head on over to dinner.

I'll be travelling with my son (S.O.B.). Hope to pick up a couple other CAMarauders enroute at the Bedford rest stop on the PA Turnpike. :D

Exuse me....? Mark has been ringing my phone off the hook for weeks!!! He's coming alright. We're sharing a room, but weren't originally due in until thursday around noon. That's subject to change since I am not in the mood to work 3 days in Michigan, drive home, pack the MM, and drive right back. Screw my employer...as the days pass, I am more and more inclined to take that week off as well. They have no work for us next week, so....what the hell...what's ANOTHER week unpaid?

I-280 is closed in both directions for the remainer of the year. We will utilize exit 63 for I-75 north.

Summit is off I-76 around exit 26 in Ohio just outside Akron. I-76, the PA. turnpike, merges with I-80 in Youngstown Ohio. 76 then becomes an interstate, and 80 becomes the toll road. 76 will take you nearly 60 miles south of the Ohio turnpike as they both run parallel and slide further apart as you travel west. It's not preferred if you are running toward Michigan. Summit is about a 45 minutes or better drive south/north from my exit.

We have no problem meeting up at your house at all, that would be great. If it doesn't work out, the rest stop is fine. I really hope you and Mark can make this on Wednesday, and I hope there's more than 1 MM in Bluerauders convoy.

Thanks Barry. I had forgotten where it was, and just recall seeing it on our way west to Columbus. Count us in on the convoy, as we'll be hooking up with Charlie when he hits I-80, unless we're too far ahead, since we could have a nearly 4 hr jump on him, depending on when we leave Snow Shoe.
