Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows if the window button for the drivers window can also be used in any of the other three locations.
I am interested in the express down fuction and would like this on the passenger window also and posibly all of the other windows.
So has anyone done this, or is this switch exclusive to the drivers side window only. Or can it be used in any of the other windows as well?
Inquireing minds want to know.:)

The window switches are part of a complete assembly rather than individual units. Not sure if you could take the insides out of the driver's window of one and put them in another location on a different assembly, but I doubt it.

I drove a rental car that had express passenger window switch...I like it...alot.

As fordnut siad, it is indeed an assembly switch that doesn't come apart.

Perhaps one of our more experienced electrical fabricators could figure something out.

Just get a junkyard electrical setup for the old style driver side that used a switch you had to "not hold". I'm not sure if it was in the motor or used a module.

HEY! CARFIXER! A LITTLE HELP OVER HERE! MAN'S GOT PROBLEMS!

Sorry about the yelling. Got a little carried away cause I want this too.:D

I've read a write up on how to do it in Mustangs. All you need is three auto-switch assembly I believe. The are seperate units in Mustangs if memory serves me correctly (its been a long time since I looked). You may be able to use Mustang or other Ford autoswitches. I wouldn't know how to wire it though. I guess I'm not helping.
