Just recently I discovered a problem with the paint on my 2003 Marauder. I made contact with two dealerships in the Pennsylvania, Bucks County as well as Mercury. As everybody know on this site, I received no help from either dealership or Mercury. I was informed that my warranty will not cover the paint on my car. However, Faulkner Ford, located in Quakertown, PA informed me that they would set up an appointment for me with their local for rep to look at the paint. I don’t know when this will be, Faulkner Ford will contact me with a date. Anybody who has a problem with their paint is more than welcome to join me when I meet with the Ford rep. As everybody knows there is strength in numbers and maybe as a group we can resolve this problem. Anybody who would like to go, please let me know and we can set up a location to where we can meet. Once I receive a date, for the meeting with the Ford rep, I will let everybody know.
What problems have you seen with your paint, HD? I have an 03 and while the paint looks OK - it does seem to chip & scratch much easier than other black cars that I've owned.
I'm near Philly, let me know if I can help in any way.
