Could be a Ham Radio (amateur radio operator) license tag?
Check it out at QRZ.
Not in the database.....Not a "ham" plate. Sorry it didn't help.

Gotta Love It! :pimp:

Gotta Love It! :pimp:But, it has to be. PA will not issue tags like that to non-hams. Here's my guess. The KB3 2x2 calls came off about 20 years ago, and were Advanced calls. What if the guy allowed his call to lapse, and just kept renewing the plate? Or upgrded or got a vanety call, and didn't want to spend the cash, or go to the trouble to get another plate with his new callsign. It's $20 a pop in PA, and a royal PITA to get anything done regarding vanety plates, never mind they make you return, at your expense, the old plate. My guess is the guy just said "to hell with it, and kept his old plate with the old callsign. (once PA issues the tag, there's no requirement to prove you still have that callsign.

You're correct, though, that callsign is not in any of the databases. I'll look it up in one of my old callbooks. :dunno:
