Well, I just got back from a 3 hr cruise, I can't get the smile off my face. Oh jeffersonmo, it's 72 now!!!:P  And I was not alone out there, no less then 11 contested positions, all 11 seen it my way.

And I'm hear to tell Ya, I don't care what them SS boy's say a stock SS car is no match for bad girl!! Both 96's one black, one maroon. Had three goes with the black one and he had enough. 4 goes with the maroon before he called it quits.
Took on a late model Trans Am for 1 round and he never had a chance. Got one round out of CVPI, we stoped and talked, he loves the car. And last but not least got two go's with 90 or 91 Vette, these cars should be burnt to the ground, I think my GMC could have knocked him off.

Ok so I guess I have to fess up and admit the was a 12th meeting, with Roush Mustang, that damn kid made me look a fool, thats the last time, The forced air plane has just been put to the top of list. My wife thinks I'm nuts but no damn smart ass grinnin kid is going to do that to me again.

Youth is wasted on the young!!

I'd say both cars - SS and Marauder- should be fairly equal stock. I would lean on the SS being quicker 0-60 due to more low end torque (330ft lb@2400rpm stock). The MM should be the quicker highway car.
Depends on the driver I guess.

RWD V8 - everyone wins. :P

BTW - how did you know they were a 96' model?

Not meanin to be mean or insult anyones taste but the Marauder makes the Impala look like dogfood imo.

The MM does look nice, but Ford should of lowered it a bit more. That is my only complaint with the looks of the MM. Otherwise it rates right up there with SS.

Or the SS rates up there with the MM. Gotta remember which forum I'm on.:D

I am no expert on the SS cars but both drivers of these cars looked to be selecting gears from a shifter on a center console. Now according to all the info I have found on these cars (was going to buy one until the MM came along) only the 96 had the center console. If in fact this is not the case..I stand corrected and the boys I was playing with could have been any one of the three years.
I still really dig these cars and at some point I will most likely end up with one just for ****s and grins.
