CAM members not going to Detroit.

August 20th and 21st, next Saturday and Sunday, our local car club is having its 2005 Car Show at the Frederick Fair Grounds in conjunction with the Frederick Sportsman Show. The local car club has had this planned for a couple of months now. I'd rather be at MVIII, but I have no leave left for the year.

And it gives those of us who will miss out on MVIII a chance to comfort each other in our time of grief. :cry:

Well, I just got off the phone putting in a firewall trouble ticket for work, talking to the girl on the phone we were shooting the breeze while stuff was coming up, she asked me where I was and then I asked where they were located. Dearborn. So I just had to say how I coulda been at Woodward! She told me how she went last year and how it was great and there's already people there this year.

So, yeah, I can't escape the "Woodward is great and you're in VA!" thing!

Oh well! In restrospect I could've gone too!

Lots will be going on both days, but the car show and judging will be on Saturday. Award plaques will be handed out on Sunday. So I guess Saturday is the better day. We will be there both days.

Ricka11 might be there on Sunday. Merc is going to try to come too, but I don't know which day yet.

I'm sorry I could not make it. I got stuck with way too much going on and ended up calling it all in. I didn't hit any car shows, not even the local cruise.

In fact I'm sad to report my Marauder isn't 100% clean either... :(
