View Full Version : I finally got my MM.

After 2 1/2 years on the site, and driving everything else that is of the Panther platform (2 1992 GMLSHPPs, 1 1995 CVPI), I finally got my own MM. I got a 300B with 7k and the 6 disc changer.

I came across this one in Ft Myers in the Auto Trader and on Ebay. I asked Carfixer to take a look at it for me. He gave me his report w/many pics and the rest is history.

Also, after doing numerous OASIS reports, I realized that I had to move fast because a new member PM'd me with the VIN number. It is the only report that I declined to run.

I have pics up in the gallery. They are from the Ebay ad from the place that I bought it from.

Hey Brian....CONGRATULATIONS buddy!!!! Finally. Ya know, ran into Keith (navchap) and some other fine MM folks near the Windy City yesterday as they were on their journey to Detroit. There was even some discussion on the topic of your purchasing a MM soon...and now it's happened. Hmmm, wonder if Keith "pulled a few strings"? Enjoy my friend.

It won't be so low for long. This will be my only car and it will be a daily driver.Mine is my daily driver too. Oh yeah, if you hurry right now, there's a Citgo on US1 just north of 595 that sells 93 for $2.79. I filled up there today. I'm not sure how useful this information is to you being that you are from Coral Springs but oh well. How much did you pay? I paid $19,000 before sales tax for mine and that was when it had 32,300 miles. Now it has just short of 33,000 miles all from one weeks worth of hard driving.

Get your fluids flushed, especially engine oil. Your car has definitely been sitting on some dealer's lot for god only knows how long and the fuilds definitely need to be flushed and replaced! After you do that, the car should ride fine. I remember when I first got my Marauder and it was shifting so slowly under hard acceleration but then I got the oil changed and whabam! It was running super smooth! Congragulations anyway. Oh yeah, I have a friend that may want to buy your 95' vic. He's looking to get rid of his 85' Fleetwood and he might have enough to buy your 95'. I'll have to ask him.

Thank you everyone for the warm reception. It is deeply appreciated.

So have asked what kind of mods I will be doing. I plan on taking things slow for now but I will be saving up for a S/C in the future. I will also be buying an extended warranty for the other stuff that could go south.

Brian, I am extremely happy for you. As I told you I pick up a 03 CV sport silver/black last Saturday. I wanted to make it to out meet on Friday but my wife's birthday was on Thursday and she wanted to go out to eat. I am no fool. When I get a chance I will post some pix's of the vehicle. My goal right now is to just upgrade to the 04 CVPI level 250 hp (air box, zip tube, PCM, and driveshaft). You might decide to keep your CVPI as a mule to keep your MM cherry as I decided with my 96 CVLX with CVPI enhancements. Some weeks I drive as much as 550-600 miles in one week and didn't want to devalue my CVsport as it has 35K miles on it now.
After 2 1/2 years on the site, and driving everything else that is of the Panther platform (2 1992 GMLSHPPs, 1 1995 CVPI), I finally got my own MM. I got a 300B with 7k and the 6 disc changer.
