Todd and his artists at Grand Mufflers / Car and Truck Performance upgraded my exhaust system today, replacing the old modified Magnaflow X-pipe with a custom bent and welded X-pipe, cleaned up the previous install, and replaced the OEM tips with Megs delete tips. She sounded good before, but the sound now is awesome. Idle is a deap grumble, at throttle its a throaty growl. Moving the tips out helped reduced cabin noise as well.
Here are shots of the install, some comparative. I'll split these over a few posts to show mercy to you dial up members.

This shot shows how my old system angled down and literally was the lowest point under the car. This was due to the modified Magnaflow X-pipe, which was not straight, and the installer who didn't take the time to connect it to the rest of the exhaust system to compensate for the crooked X-pipe. You can see the inserted pipe welded in front of the cats to extend the X-pipe beyond the cross member. The supplier for this part had modified it using galvanized pipe, whereas the rest of the X-pipe was stainless steel. Eeech.

This shot shows the new X-pipe properly installed. Notice how it's neatly tucked up under the car.

The old Magnaflow modified X-pipe. This is actually a "direct fit cat and X-pipe" that is modified to fit the Marauder.
