Okay, it's night I turn on the headlights, I glance down to turn down my window but something doesn't look right.
The switch is not fully illuminated, the bottom double arrows are lit, but the single up arrow is not  ?
I play with the switch and nothing happens, after driving a while the top arrow starts to blink and then eventually stays on .
So has anyone else encountered this problem/fluke?
Are there two bulbs in each switch?
Any ideas???

Ahhhhh! One of the 'Easter eggs'!
You probabally have power cut to all the other windows. When you do that, all the lights in the switches on all doors go out.

I had a problem wih one of the lights burning out. Had to replace the whole assembly, fortunately under warranty.

Yep, same problem. Only the light in the driver's window up arrow is out. Sometimes it flickers back on. I have yet to get to the dealer for it.

You have a double arrows on the bottom of the switch? Mine was messed up and was replaced but has no down double arrrows.

Yes, I have double down arrows.
I guess it is to represent the "quick" down feature.

Sorry the picture is so big, I took it to document me cleaning the switch contacts - two of the positions didn't work.
You can see the tiny LEDs for the switch illumination, and the little circuit board "hovering" over the module. Lots of places for bad connections, and I don't know how long those little leds last.
I think mine was intermittent, one of the driver's arrows doesn't light, but I'd have to check.
I need to change my bezel anyway, so I might as well, see if I can fix this problem as well.
I wanted to add TVS (voltage supressors) to stop the inductive "kick" from the motors from doing this to the switches, but I can't find a good place to add them, and I don't want to cut up my wiring. Since it lasted 50K miles like that, I just cleaned the contacts and "let it go."
One more thing, don't buy aftermarket switch modules. I bought one, and it's a piece of junk. I threw it away. When and if I ever need it, I'll ask Ray to order me a new one.
(sorry the picture is so big)

Heh, my driver's window up arrow has never lit up since I've had it.
Until half the lights go out I wont worry with it. Day or night I tend to accidently roll down the back seat window at every drive thru instead of my window. Gets embarrassing after a while.

I just noticed a couple nights ago that the frontmost arrow on the driver's window switch wasn't lit. Don't know if it has been like that or not. May have to get that fixed. Still have a little OEM warrantly left. My wife and I both ahve the problem of the window switches not being where we are used to finding them. They seem to be shifted a few inches toward the front of the car from the Crown Vics we were used to.

Just noticed one of the indicators in mine is out. Wonder how much the switch assembly costs? If it's less than the $50 deductible on my ESP warranty, makes no sense to make a warranty claim. I reckon I'll wait until something major goes out and have this swapped while it's in the shop.

I recently had this problem... My Crown Victoria did the same thing the Marauder did, flickers for a long time and finally dead lights.
I replaced it with a Ford OEM part and put it in myself, part cost me $282 CAD because I refuse to use a non OEM part myself...
You can buy a Dorman unit for $42 or so on eBay which works just fine and has LED switch lights too. I used that in my Vic with no issues.

I can fix the switches... even the LEDs.
