Believe it or not, there are only 2 Silver cars out there with badgeless grills.
The other one in Texas.
I think it looks awesome on a silver car.
Glad you like it and thanks for the post.

ZackZack, are you aware of any DTRs that have gone with the black badgeless grills? I did a little Photoshop action on mine and thought it looked pretty cool. Just curious. Am I correct in assuming that doing that would be more expensive?

Here is a quick chop...

And I believe Zack said DTR was the cheapest to do, as FoMoCo sells the grille in that color at a lower price.

I would do a Red frame grill with the bars in black, that would look slick.
I can make you the Red badgeless, you take the rest in to a paint shop for customization.

I may still consider that, but I thought the black looked nice too. That's why I thought it might be more expensive. . . because I'm changing colors.
Anyhow thanks for the quick sample.

Sorry, missed the black part. I could recreate one later tonight if you wish.

Sorry, missed the black part. I could recreate one later tonight if you wish.No problem, I'll try that tonight when I get home. I did a quick attempt last night, but that was after a bottle of good grape juice. . . maybe it won't look as good the next time. . .

Can you PM me with the price? Also, would you have to have my stock grill or is it worth just buying two and keeping the stock grill if I ever want to go back to it?

Just buy 2 new ones, I think they are $90 bucks a piece.
It is more difficult to paint the bars than the frame.
It would be in your best interest to buy 2 black grills (130 a piece)
and have the frame painted red.
I dont do the painting.
