I'll start.

For someone who is N/A and most likely gonna stay that way for the near future...

Which is the best stall for a N/A MM? 2400? 2800? 3000? 3500?

and why?

Thanks!

2800 is what I have and I like it.

3500, because more is better! You need to tell everyone how you intend to drive your car 90% of the time and why you think you need a stall converter.

Of course it may not be clear to everyone else that you and I are good friends and you've ridden in mine, but I don't think you've driven it with the 3500 before. You should pop over here and take it for a spin, er, drive. The tires spin pretty easy with a 3500!

Huzzah!

I had a 3,000 when I S/C went to 3,500.

It drives the same. The 3,500 will result in better acceleration assuming you can get the traction. :D

It's a daily driver for summer, and I'm looking for a $1000 beater for the winter currently.

Every onramp is romp time basically, as well as the occasional rice toasting, but other than that I am pretty calm.

That help?

Can you explain that a bit? Do you feel like it is slipping more than a stock would or is the fun factor caiusing gas mileage to slip? :)

FYI, I am considering getting one and am interested in everyday driveability.

Are you running 4.10's with it?

I ran the 3000 stall and 4.10 combo when I was n/a. I could break traction with ease on stock rubber. I still have this setup and it complements the Procharger P1-SC very well, although I could see how the 3500 stall / 4.30 gear / drag radial combo would be a nice setup for drag racing. With the 4.10's, I had plenty of rpm left before redlining 3rd go to waste at Milan. Then again, I still get better than 20 mpg on the highway. What floats your boat?

The X-factor here is the torque converter lock-up schedule. The tuning will either make it feel like a rubber band or almost smooth as stock running around town.
