I've only had this happen a few times but I have had people seriously flip out when I pull up behind them in normal traffic. I know what it is, they think my car is an undercover cop car. I had one girl on public streets doing 80mph to get out of my way, keep in mind I was no where near tailgating her. I tried to speed up to catch up to her to see why, I was just doing 65mph which was way over to begin with but man she was flying and she was in a huge F-150!

Anyway, she stopped at the next light since it was red and I pulled up next to her in the left turn lane. Some young teen woman driving. Must of stolen her dad's truck or something. I've had other experiences where people most definietely get of our way thinking you're a undercover state trooper or something. I was on I75 south bound just doing 85mph and people were kindly getting out of my lane so I could speed up. I must of done 100 mph for a short sprint but man people just moved out of the way. I'm not suggesting that I'm going to turn into a cop impersonator or install lights or anything like that. It's just amazing the amount of parinoia people display when you pull up in a car that looks like a cop car.

I personally enjoyed the "get outta the way factor" by pulling up on folks at 80+...

Works great if your in a hurry...

Guilt and fear do have an effect on people...
Pulling over to read the map..causes more
than one type of skid mark...

It's usually funniest if you ride the middle lane at 65mph and just when that ass in the Vette flies by at 90, punch the S/C'd marauder the second he flies by and close on his butt like a mofo. They go right damn near every time.

Of course, you then get a dirty look when they figure out you're messin' with their brain.

I never get them moving out of my way... but they go speed limit in front of me.
And they slam their brakes real hard rather than go through the earliest of yellow lights.

I like cruising along in the right lane and watch people fly up, then do the "brake pedal mambo" when they see the car. Too much fun. :)

In NY, ya gotta ride the right lane at 55mph.
NO ONE will dare to pass you, until some ricer that knows what a Marauder is,
sees you and just flies by, trying to get outta the traffic you are causing.

But its funny to see people at stoplights on the OTHER SIDE of the intersection,
stop whatever they are doing, and put on their seatbelts.
Even when you approach intersections, everyone who is already stopped does a seatbelt check.

Most people are oblivious, they race past at high speed, do stupid moves in traffic, etc.
Even if I'm driving the '03 CVPI, which is all black. They just don't care.

On a couple of occasions though, when driving the '97 CVPI, which is just dark metallic blue, has no spot light or anything that makes it look like a Police vehicle, I have had people suddenly pull over in front of me for no apparent reason. It kind of makes me wonder when they do it, I always check behind me thinking I've missed a fire truck or something. They usually have a funny look on their face as I casually drive by.

Sometimes when I'm cruising along at 70 MPH, and I look in my rearveiw mirror, I feel like I'm driving a pace car, because I notice a few motorists behind me just itching to go faster, but they're afraid they're gonna get a ticket if they pass me. So what I often do in a situation like that is hammer down hard on the go pedal for only a second, and let off just as quick just to let them hear that Kooks header & exhaust growl, and then most of the time they figure it out that I'm not driving a cop car, and they ease on by me.

I love it when I floor it up this long onramp I have on my way home.

People sometimes pull ONTO THE SHOULDER thinking I'm coming for them.

Pulled up behind a 69 Camaro a couple of months ago, just wanted to take a look. The driver saw me and him and the passanger started throwing stuff out the window. Got to work and had white powder and pot in the grill. Sometimes I forget how much we look like undercover.

Oh, that's hilarious!!!! I almost bought an undercover CVPI car from the local PD auction a couple months before I discovered Marauders. It was black with heavy black window tint. Strange how many Marauders look like that, isn't it?

Got to work and had white powder and pot in the grill. Are you sure it was pot and not oregano? Did you *ahem test it cough*?

Try putting a magnetic mount CB Antenna in the center of your roof. I did when I drive North last June. They see that black car with an Antenna, and they slow right down and get out of the way. Only problem is when you are following someone and you want them to go faster, they won't. Have not flicked my headlights yet, but next long trip, I may just do that. BTW. Only have the CB in the car when I travel long distance alone. My wife hates it, so when I'm with her, no CB.

It is called: LL-Ez-Pass or Left Lane Ez-Pass.

In a hurry? Drive w/ your head lights on but leave the fogs off. They part like the red sea.

If you have a CB, you can install a PA and just tell em to move.

See, I love Florida, because theres always a few that pay no attion to a big black car here. So the few times people have blown by me, I end up seeing them pulled over by FHP. Gotta love it.
