Belt line molding removal???

Has anyone here removed the beltline molding from the sides of the Marauder?

If so is it only held in place with double sided tape, or are their holes in the sheet metal for pins to line up to?

And if it has been done are there any pics?

I think the removal of the molding would make the car look more muscular.

I've seen a picture of one with the front fender molding and the drivers door molding removed. the passenger door still had it's molding. There was a small part of it removed so that they could fit a Mercury symbol there.

I think that the rear passenger doors have holes. I noticed on squad cars that part is always left on also.
