Hope all us of make it thru this free of damage.

Let us know how you made out once she's moved on from where you are.

Latest news says it's supposed to make it's way over to the gulf coast by morning rush hour ... then head up towards the panhandle.

Nothing much to report in Jupiter. Never lost power, not too much rain. Had a pretty good squall at about 3 am which resulted in a few trees down in the hood, but other than that, pretty fortunate.

Just a quick check in, Power at house number one (parents) ok, only lost cable for about an hour. Unknown at my new house, have to work so I wont know till later. Shakes, as of 10:30PM last night was out of power, but does have a generator. I did offer him a place to stay if needed. On the drive to work I could not see anything major. The only thing we should really see in my county is power outages, which will hopefuly be fixed soon.

If Shake's power doesn't come right back, I have a generator, not pretty but work's fine!

I'll PM you with my number.

I came out of this just fine. My aunt and uncle lost power (again) but when I showed up to pick up the perishables, it came back on. I called work to find out that it is business as usual, just without everyone working.

Happy to hear everyone seems to be OK thus far. I'm up in Chicago at present (along with the MM). Just spoke with a couple of neighbors near my house in FL (Davie) and was told my home is OK but the power is off and I've got a large tree down in the backyard that also took out a section of fence when it fell apparently. Thank goodness the tree fell in the direction away from the house and landed in a small lake at the rear of the property. Thinkin of storing the Marauder up north here temporarily, flying home to clean-up/fix-up whatever needs doing and then returning to the mid-west. How did you guys in Davie, Cooper City, Plantation, Weston (Zo) Pines etc make out?? According to reports on the TV up north here seems to be a lot of flooding down by Rick-n-Miami's neck of the woods.

Well lets see, one 25 foot pine tree down in my yard & 1/2 of my Banana Trees are distroyed. Got a nice mess to clean up. I'm the V.P. Of the Board of Director's in my community and did alot of driving around today and our 12 acre Club house is a mess, we got alot of clean up too do , some of the gate's electrical boxes were riped out of the ground, some gate damage,Mail boxes riped out of the ground, alot trees down, 2 homes have large ficus trees resting on their roofs. We have electric , it never went out so we are lucky I guess as far as that. But the main thing is no one got hurt.

Everything fine here at the farm....lost cable for a few hours, but thats it. I feel for those in New Orleans, but Im just glad it isnt us. Last year was my first year in Florida. 2 hurricanes, 13 total days without power (and we have well water pumped by an electric pump, so no water either) It sucked!!! Ill do just fine without another one for a while......glad to hear everyones alright.

Other than the pool toys tossed around the yard, we're good here for now. And may the BIG MAN upstairs watch over those who get it

Well, the eye went right over my house (go figure). Had a tornado touch down next door, heard and then saw it. Power was restored Sunday monring around 11:30, but I was already on a plane to Kentucky. For something that was supposed to hit well north of Miami and only produce a little rain..... man, what a storm. Lots of trees & powerpoles down, roofs ripped off, etc. Luckily, I only lost the screen on my patio, all else is fine.

PS - Prior to the storm, I had zero trees in my yard. After the storm, several found their way into my yard. Go figure.

free landscaping! The tree police will probably come by slap a canker sticker on your door and then chop them down. :)

Glad to hear you made it through unscathed. We losot power here in Boca for about 8-9 hours Thurs-Fri am. That was the worst of it, the neighbors and I had a few round of cocktails and monopoly by candlelight.

Hi all,

Only the beaches received a lot of damage. Very little elsewhere. I had no damage at my house. My dad did have sever damage to 2 pole barns but that is all. We're still cleaning up from Ivan and Dennis at his place. I'm just glad it didn't hit here.
