Oh, one more thing. My wife is 4 weeks away from giving birth to our 2nd daughter, so this sale "may" be cut short, but most likely not. Just wanted to give a heads up. If you don't here from me for a day or so don't panic, because I will be... http://www.modularfords.com/forums/images/smilies/drugs.gif

Thanks

First, congrats and good luck on the impending new child.

Second, the timing on this couldn't have been better as I should be picking mine up in just over a week and need some modifications. I will be sending a PayPal order shortly.

Wow good deal on a great intake! I got mine about 2 weeks ago, I'm LOVING it. I like it so much had I known of this sale I probably wouldn't have waited... :)

For those buying, or interested, you will love the sound in the middle of the rev range when you are under load/heavy throttle. It's plenty quiet when just cruising, but when you get into it the sound is AWESOME.

Plus your engine compartment will look much cooler without the stock airbox.

Sorry, just spaeking for this great product.

Well not until the 17th but that was not gonna stop me when I got it this morning. I wish I had done this mod the day I drove it off the lot because it just sounds soo right. The extra ponys can be felt too but it's the sound it produces that,s the best part of this mod. I ran a 14.9 quarter this Spring and I'll be heading back to the track soon and cant wait to see what she does now. Thanks Jay you have another very happy customer.

...I have been thinking about getting a cold air kit, but will I have to have my SCT9100 retuned to account for the C.A.K.???

...I have been thinking about getting a cold air kit, but will I have to have my SCT9100 retuned to account for the C.A.K.???A retune is not needed, but is all ways a good idea.

As far as the retune goes, what is affected by the new intake is the Air/Fuel ratio (A/F). I installed a JLT kit in 12/04 replacing a Metco kit. I had concerns that A/F was perhaps off. When I was finally able to have the car dynoed in 7/05, A/F was basically a flat line with very little deviation on the graph and the tuner told me it was just fine. Compared to a stock MM dynoed at the same time, it was better than the stock tune. So either it was okay from the start when the intake was changed or the computer worked itself out over time.

Just got the "new" Marauder home yesterday afternoon and within an hour of getting home had the JLT intake on (also had to say "HI" to the family, unpack, etc). Very nice product with good directions. And the sound that thing makes when it is sucking in air is pretty cool. Can't wait to get an XCal2 to compliment the intake.

Thanks for the great product!!!!
