My car is having several small warranty/service issues.

In less than one month both seat heater switches started to blink(backlight button)passenger side first the day after it was replaced the drivers side started blinking.
Next the rear view mirror started to vibrate.
Now top half of the drivers window switch is not backlit. And the panel that holds the switches on the drivers door, pops out if you shut the door too hard or bump it with your leg.I tried to bend the retainer clips out to grip better, but the door panel itself has grooves worn where the fasteners slide in.
My only apprehension is ,If Fords solution is the same as the door seals(crazy glue it together) I am going to try velcro or something.

You're flying her apart, lol.

Seriously, my driver's side door switch panel has been kinda loose ever since I replaced the speakers more than a year ago. It isn't popping loose entirely so I just live with it. The door trim fairly expensive so hopefully yours will be covered under warrenty.

Well the switch bezel did fix the problem.

And my Mods did not void the warranty.

My old blk MM had the window switch panel pop out. It only happened after I had the Muth mirrors put in. No problem this time though.

That's strange. My passenger switch for the heated seats is blinking as well.

Did the dealer replace the switch? Not quite understanding your verbage. (no flames intended).

Mike.

Mike. I had the same problem on my drivers door it started after the dealer replaced a speaker. Subsequently they also replaced the heater switch.

Replacement of the heated seat switch fixes the blinking proble. I had the passenger side done a few months ago, now the drivers side is doing it. Another trip to the dealer....

Sounds like someone broke off the tab on the back of the master control switch cover. It may have dropped down inside the door panel. No matter, you can replace the entire cover for $14. Then it will stay.

Donny C ,
I looked , all the tabs were in place.
The tabs did grove the door panel pretty good, but so far the panel has stayed in place.
I have had it in for "hood won't open", too.First they lubed it , then they replaced the latch.
Still wouldn't open a couple times since.
