Bumper bib is a piece of trunk lining or other soft material that hangs over the rear bumper when loading & unloading stuff. Has a velcro strip that holds it inside the trunk. Keeps your rear bumper from getting scratched. I think DR's come with "MARAUDER" embroidered on it.

I just put the rear and front sway bars on. They make a big improvement in handling. They do not affect ride.

I just put the rear and front sway bars on. They make a big improvement in handling. They do not affect ride. Exchanging thought, or, impression of a "feeling" is rather difficult here. It's all very subjective, and a lot hangs on what a few words mean to the writer, and to the reader.
I cannot interpret, or, explain what "ride" and "handling" mean as a seat-of-the-pants experience, at least not here in a post.
I've owned two Marauders, I'm on my second and I have added the rear Addco sway bar and poly bushings to both. Twice now, the results were splendid, very pleasing. Just last week, I added the front sway bar to my present MM, and I am even more pleased. Doh? What was I waiting for? Why didn't I do this long ago? BTSOOM!
IMHO, there is much improvement in both handling and ride when both front and rear Addco sway bars are in place. My MM steers and turns with improve accuracy and my overall control is vastly improved, as your S-O-T-P feel will be.
IMHO, the OEM Marauder suspension is very pleasing, but greatly improved by adding both front and rear Addco sway bars. Well worth the investment.
Word of caution though, if railroad like tracking and roller skate like positive feedback is not pleasing to you, pass on this mod, stick with stock.

What is the cobra exhaust??? What is included? I'm going to jump in here because I have the prototype kit on my MM from back in '03, and I probably know more about the kit and performance than Dennis would care to answer here.
The DR/Cobra kit consists of two cast iron manifolds from the '03 Cobra (blown 4V) that have been port matched to our Intech 4V "D" shaped exhaust ports. They are ceramic coated, which is more than just bling, it manages heat transfer inside and outside the manifold. What's hot stays inside and gets pushed into the exhaust pipe quicker than OEM manifolds that seem to roast forever. BTW, these manifolds look very OEM, and do not shout "I'm a mod!". I've had factory engineers look at my MM and not notice, or, comment on the DR/Cobra exhaust kit, but they did detect my Wes Chain "delete tips". Weird...
The exhaust pipe is a one piece stainless steel "Y" pipe that mates the Cobra manifolds up to high flow Bassani cats, and goes on to terminate in a Bassani X pipe. All of this in 2.5" OD, all four O2 sensor bungs are present, as well as the EGR. Extension pipes follow with a simple ball and socket joint, and they taper down to match the OEM 2" OD and clamp at the muffler inlet. This kit includes all the necessary gaskets, bolts and clamps, so, no welding is necessary unless you want to. BTW, if you have aftermarket 2.5" OD mufflers in place today, please tell Dennis, or, you may get the wrong extension pipes. Back in '03, not many of us were changing out mufflers.
Install...It all fits in place in under 2 hours with hand tools, no gymnastics. Any muffler monkey can do this. BTW, retain your OEM exhaust manifold gaskets, they are reusable and fit perfectly.
Performance...When I dyno for performance, I do 3 pulls and average the data. On the day Zack and I installed the prototype kit, I did before and after dyno tests, which showed 28 RWHP and 30 RWTQ gains. Impressive, but remember my MM is Vortech supercharged, and on that day, it was the S-Trim with a 3.48 pulley that builds 9.5 PSI of boost.
Cost of this kit was 900 bucks, plus install time less than two hours. I did not get a price break from DR for this testing, or, this post. I'm giving y'all the straight 411 on exhaust performance and "bang for the buck".
Two weeks after this install, I'm in ATL for a mini-Marauderville National meet hosted by TAF and the ATL crew. TAF takes me over to his Grand Muffler shop where the highly respected "Buster" adds Magnaflow 18s (#14326) with a 2.5" OD inlet/outlet, and replaces the Reinhart extension pipe with a full 2.5" OD pipe into the Magnaflows. Now welding is necessary, but only to match the 2.25" OD tail pipe to the Magnaflow 2.5" OD outlet. Add 300 bucks to this investment and we run back to Team Ford and strap my MM down again. I pick up 2 RWHP at 6000 RPM. No change in torque, no surprise, eh? Just a "tad" more breathing at the high end, nothing at the low end.
So, this totals up to 30 RWHP and 30 RWTQ for 1200 bucks, not including the cost of 2 hours install labor at what ever rate you may pay locally.
All things considered, IMHO the DR/Cobra kit is the best bang for the buck for any Marauder, supercharged, or, not. Though I don't have headers, and I can't brag much about having ceramic coated manifiolds, I do have 500+ HP at the rear wheels without headers...Go figure.
To be honest about it, twice now I have been tempted to upgrade to headers, but I don't believe I would gain much power for the costs involved. The Kook's mid-length and the newer Stainless Works long tubes will deliver more power, but they cost much more too. Install time is approximately 6 hours, which should be considered when estimating your investment, and thanks to G-Man, we have a solid index of performance gains on the SW long tubes, with 3" OD pipes. He gained just under 40 RWHP/RWTQ in his before and after dyno tests. Hope this helps with your question.

Hey Mac, you need to clarify your statement about G-man's hp/tq. He gained an AVERAGE of just under 40 tq/hp throughout the powerband. But saw a 50 GAIN in tq and almost 60 in hp.
I am not sure that the DR Corba Manifolds are best bang for the buck as advertised by you Mac. The X pipe that comes with the DR system uses aluminum coated steel extensions, not stainless steel. Secondly the wielding on the X-pipe was very poor and the alignment was equally bad. You could see my exhaust hanging in the center from a short distance away. The ceramic coated Cobra manifolds lost their shine and started to rush within a year. On the other hand I had great performance with this system, but have not fully tested the new exhaust against the old. It's a royal pain to change exhaust systems after a year of service. Take a close look at your future needs and don't sell yourself sort. This was a very costly investment for me.

Hey Mac, you need to clarify your statement about G-man's hp/tq. He gained an AVERAGE of just under 40 tq/hp throughout the powerband. But saw a 50 GAIN in tq and almost 60 in hp. Okay, here's his statement from his post...
"The average HP gain throughout the powerband was 37.7 HP. While the average torque gain throughout the powerband was 38.74 lb/ft."
When G-Man posted these numbers, he verified a statement from Al Noe of Stainless Works, who I have been negotiating with for a complete exhaust system in 3" OD. I'm well aware that long tube headers will cost you some power in lower RPMs. Likewise, 3" OD exhaust pipes, and X pipe are a tad large for a 281 CID engine, but supercharging may play a role in recovery. I'm interested, but cautious, and way back last May, I asked Al for some numbers from the Trilogy install. He replied "about 40 each". These numbers are realistic for our application, when supercharged.
When G-Man posted his numbers, all I could say was thanks for the honesty, and I have. Remember, my numbers are averages too. I could have toyed with the peaks, turned off the smoothing and SAE correction on the dyno report, but why? I'm not selling stuff for Dennis, I posted an answer to a question, and a fellow owner is going to get an honest answer, whether Dennis likes that or not. In my opinion, The Cobra kit is still the best bang for the buck for any Marauder, and I respect your opinion as well.
Merc...I've read your history with the Cobra kit, and I am scratching my head a bit. The ceramic coating on mine looks good for it's age and exposure to the elements, but I'm guilty of using an engine cleaner that's caustic to powder coating and ceramic coating. I wasted a few other engine parts and lost a lot of bling under my hood by using a cleaner from Castrol, read up here...
http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml98/98108.html
I thought the coating was burned, it's not, just very dull now. One or two spots where water collects have a brownish film, but both the brown and the dullness have responded to some hand polishing. This winter, I plan on pulling the manifolds off and buffing them out, or, refinishing them. However, this was my fault, I don't blame Dennis. If I find anything else wrong, I'll take it up with Dennis. BTW, what have you used to clean your engine bay?
My pipes do not hang down as you describe, but they are the lowest part of the undercarriage. With only 4.50 inches of clearance at the A pillar, I do worry about them. Perhaps Buster made a few corrections to my install when he upgraded the extension pipes and added Magnaflows?
Carry on, gentlemen.

No rust, but I had to replace the straight flanges with a "ball and socket" type of flange due to minor exhaust leaks that kept popping up around the coupling. I also had one side of the flanges tacked so they stay horizontal, prior to that they hung vertical and you could see them on the car's profile.
As far as performance, I guess I have a split opinion. I think it's an affordable, proven alternative to the Kooks setup for n/a applications. In hindsight now that I'm blown, if I could get a do over I would have gone with the Kooks but I can't justify paying twice for exhaust just for the incremental gain. The cobra exhaust seems to be breathing fine with the blower.
Do your research and check your pocketbook before you make up your mind. Isn't / wasn't Dennis also a Kooks distributor? Whichever way you go he should be able to take care of you.

Hey Mac, I cancelled my order for the SW exh. You will be pleased to know that i called SW to find out what size muffs i needed since the info on their site and the reply i got from G-MAN were diff. Come to find out you can get the system in a 2.5 inch from header all the way back or a 3 inch from header to muffs with a 2.5 tailpipe. Since you stated you are hung up on your decision because you do not want a 3inch this should help you out. As far as me cancelling i will order a set once i research and find out if a 2.5 will be enough or a 3 inch. Since summitt sells these kits at a GREAT regular price i am in no hurry. Sounds like the DR setup is good for the n/a cars.

Sounds like the DR setup is good for the n/a cars. I'm not getting your point, TX. I'm glad you learned something you didn't know before, and this happens quite often when a "broker" such as Summit Racing gets involved in our buying decisions, and wipes out our chance of a neat group buy price. But, why should I be pleased by your decision/action to cancel your order? I don't get that. What do you mean?
Meanwhile...Yes, SW will build you what/any exhaust system you desire, and this is cool. But, you need to know what those specs are, because SW will deliver exactly what you ask for. I didn't say I do not want a 3" OD system, but I am debating (still) the value of a 3" OD system over a 2.5" OD system relative to power, and I wish I didn't have to make this call. What ever I tell Al Noe to build, he will build, exactly as I ask for it, and I will live with my results. Just not sure where that decision will leave me, power-wise.
I bought and tested the Cobra kit from Reinhart because I knew it was going to be better that anything available at the time. The OEM exhaust system sucked, it was a no-brainer. However, I am not sure the SW 3" OD kit will perform as well on my Marauder today.
It's a real time dice game, yes? You got 'em, TX, throw...
Or, have you?

Mac, i did not mean you would be happy with my cancellation but that you would be happy with the fact that SW offers the kit in a 2.5 inch. I thought you were making the decision on whether to stay with the DR or go to a 3 inch. I thought you were unaware of the 2.5 from SW. I will still order my kit from Summit after i figure out which size i want. I will support the vendors here but if i can find a better price somewhere else i will have to go there. I have tried to purchase parts from vendors here and asked if there was a discount on price or shipping and they say no, so i go somewhere else and a week or 2 later they advertise a sale after i already bought another product. I tried to give DR my business on the kooks setup in the last group buy but he said i was not one of the ten so i could not get it. So what am i to do but to find deals somewhere else.

I'll jump in here too, I have had both, the DR Cobra Exhaust and the Kooks now on. I never had any problems at all with the coating, maybe you had a bad batch.
Mac is right the Cobra exhaust is probably best bang for buck ratio. I'm dead set on 600+ RWHP so I had to go to the Kooks. But once I run it awhile I may go back to the Cobras and take the HP loss.
What I think is a missed thought is, when you modify your car issues will come up. WHAT happens AFTER, is the most important and I can honestly say Dennis has never disappointed. He cant be responsible for manufacturers defects but in like 3 incidents he took back the item and ate his own labor costs on it. You can't beat that.
if you dont mind the noise get the kooks, otherwise the cobra manifolds will do you fine. (I'm putting in Dynomat to see if i'll warm up to the noise)

Are these considered shorty headers? Did you experience any increase in cabin noise?

I have had my ProGard in place for about a month now, but I haven't done any MPG testing yet. If you can hang on one more week, I'll have some data for you. With respect to the install, not difficult at all. If you have access to a lift, should take about 20 minutes, with simple hand tools. For sure, it does firm up the bumper cover, and cures the sag in the center. IMHO, it paid for itself just with that alone.

The 9100 was the first flash tool made by SCT, it works great for what it does. It is much slower than the Xcal 1 or Xcal 2 the Xcal 2 can data log and retrieve trouble codes, and it can be programed so the user has options to change certain aspects of there tune

The Data logging capabilities, is the one feature that 9100 does not offer.
I thought the 1725, was one of the first flash tools that SCT offered.
Any offerings for the more budget minded folks, to upgrade the tuner they already have?

Thanks for the update Dennis and thanks for doing the September specials. The Bob White Decals look great (except for where I screwed up a little putting one on!!).

I just wanted to let the club know we sent out all the PHP kits and ordered 10 more. Today we recieved, a new shipment of PI converters there on sale till the end of the month. We have one Dynotech Metal Matrix Drive shaft in stock with free shipping on the MMDS. We should have ten more Pro Guards any day now, and thanks for all the orders:beer:
