Have you ever gone this far?

I went 337 miles before my empty light came on. I would have tried to get it to go 380 miles on a tank but I had to fill up a little to get to another gas station where gas it like over 20 cents less. Whats the farthest you've gone before your empty light came on or a tank of gas?

400 miles all highway and 3Gallons to spare avg speed 70mph..
stock mm K&N filter and SCT tune
all hwy..The old GM would drive from Brampton to greenwich conn.
840 kms/525miles with just a little less 2Gal left

I've made over 415 miles twice. All highway miles, cruise set around 78 awith the A/C on.[

I never like to get below a quarter of a tank. I was raised to fear the "sludge in bottom of the gas tank" or the "several thousand dollar repair that dry fuel injectors cause". It's like clearing the chamber 3 times on a pistol- I don't remember where I learned it but it seems like what I've always done.:)
