At one time I was seriously considering colorshifting flames like this. Interesting.

I think it looks real good!, IMO it would look better without the
flames on the hood but still flashy

I wonder if the owner is on here too, after all he knew to go to Dennis for his goodies.

Just wondering, how does one go about handling a transaction of this sort? Deal directly with his bank? :dunno: <!--EBAY_AUTO_SYITEMPLATE2-->
It looks as if the poor guy's gonna take a spanking on his car; and although flames are not for everyone, it seems a heck of a buy for someone. :(

Yep, you need to be dealing directly with the bank and make your check for the pay off of the lien directly to the bank.
NY is a "lien" state (unlike say GA which is a "title" state) and the lien is simply placed as a notation on the title (using DMV Form MV 90 if my memory serves me correctly) and the owner holds the title . In "title" states (like GA) the bank holds the title and won't give it back until the lien is satisfied (paid).
Got it?

At $15K I wish I could get it.
The cobra emblem on the trunk would be taken off and handed to him before I drove off though. He can keep it and put it on his minivan :)
BTW, look at what else he just sold:

Not only that--but he states he is the "original owner--purchase at local Ford Dealership"......that says alot folks----------know what I mean---!!!

Yep...
I bought my Marauder from Constable on this site. It was very easy. I also had to finance it so my bank got in contact with his bank and they worked out the details. I then had the car shipped down here to Florida.
Very easy. It did take a few paper packages back and forth to get all the signatures. But otherwise was very easy.

Not only that--but he states he is the "original owner--purchase at local Ford Dealership"......that says alot folks----------know what I mean---!!!It is common here in upstate NY for a Ford dealer outside a city to carry all of Ford's products under one roof. I bought my 04 DTR, new, through Nye Ford of Oneida, NY.

Yeah, that thing looks like some teenage kids vandalized it in a parking lot by putting it on. It looks so out of place. Maybe its me. I know someone on this site mentioned he though about or was going to put one on.

"To each his own" Its all about opinion... In any even; its an all around sharp
car. Im thinking about doing flames below my molding, from the front wheel
well to mid-front door range...

In reference to him buying it at a 'Ford dealer', several dealerships sell Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury under one roof such as one here in town but nearby in Macon there is just a Ford dealer and then a Mercury dealer.

There are always interest only loans. You can also avoid PMI if you put 10% down and take out a home equity loan for that 10% and put it down. I did both. I don't plan living here for more than 5 years or so. So, a traditional loan (interest + principle) doesn't make sense.

I believe that this car was Purchased from Feduke Ford on the Vestal Parkway in Vestal, N. Y. Feduke sold their Porsche,Audi, VW dealership in Binghamton, NY to a group from NYC. They also purchased the failing LM dealership just up the Parkway from from Feduke Ford to house a Mercedes Store. The MM was part of the inventory moved from the LM store to the Feduke Ford Store and was for sale there the last time I had service on the 03 CV that I traded on the 04 MM. It was new and pretty when I saw it but that was some time ago. There is a very active hot rod group in that area and a lot of VERY nice rides.
It could probably be explained a lot easier than this but it is a slow news day and I have the time to bore everyone! Dennis :burnout:

It is a pretty car and altho it is not the one I thought it might be, I wonder where Royal got it from...? I tried to buy one from Royal and they didn't have one..perhaps you beat me to it!
I wish you well with the sale. I am surprised that there is'nt local interest as it would be a great upgrade at a more than generous price for a whole lot of car guys in the valley. Do you know Mark Scranno? He and his brother own the Super X Laundries in Vestal, still hdqtrd at the Star Laundry on the V. parkway I think. He is very active in the local hot rod group. He is a great guy and and a car nut and he would give you any help he could to expose your MM to the local car groups. Tell him Dennis Watts suggested he might have info for you. Best of luck! I am not pleased with the final price. It is sold though. The cars are not worth that much whether they have flames or not.The rest of marauders on ebay never reached the unrealistic reserve price that they wanted for them.
Thanks for your time
