Just talked with this guy Richard at Strictly, they just finished a Kenne Bell install on a Marauder, says he used the KB kit for the '01 Cobra with some light fabrication. But, he has it all down now, and all the pics ready to post. I invited him to join us here with the details, hope this was okay.

Rut row...Two centrifugal kits, and now two positive displacement kits. Decisions, decisions...

Look at it this way, there's about 7500 Marauders out there NOT supercharged yet. Gentlemen, start your installs!

The Kenne Bell Superchargers are great. I was going to put one on the Mach, but the only negative with the Kenne Bell blowers is cost. I think the kit for my Mach 1 was right around $7,000....To hell with that, Its going to get a nice hefty 200 shot of Nitrious which will put the Mach 1 in the very low 10 second range.

Mayhap it is THIS (http://www.kennebell.net/superchargers/ford/cobra99-014v/cobra_99-014v.htm) kit? Please note the link to the pricey price list.

I don't know what it is, K? I just talked with a guy because he posted his phone number over at SVTwhatever, asking about Marauder gauges.

We got that stuff nailed, so, I call him to give him the skinny on gauges, trim rings, and mounting on the center console. I don't think he heard a word I said, but he lays this Kenne Bell crap in my lap over the phone.

What am I supposed to do with this?

Check it our myself, or, let y'all know it's brewing?

Truthfully, I don't care either way. Y'all can build on this 411, or, not. Look him up, give him a call, or not, I don't care.

His name and phone number are listed in the post I linked to, I called and asked for Richard, and got "Richard". This is a starting point, y'all decide if he's worth your dial up or not.

Thanks for taking the time to find another alternative means to s/c. I feel like you when you try to get people another means to a product and they post ?s and comparisons and ask you if it is worth it. I will probably just do research for myself from now on and only post my results if someone has a ? about something that relates to, it instead of starting a thread about what i have found.

Another option for SCing the Marauder can only be a good thing.

When it comes to blowers, the Lysholm twin screw (used in the KB kits) is king. The bottom end of the roots blower, with the top end of a centrifugal. Yummy:D

If this guy can work out the packaging and make it fit reasonable well (yes, a big IF indeed), this would be awesome for Marauders. Of course the kit would need to be fully inter cooled and by passed...but I think all the latest KB kits are now. The only ones not are the 5-6 psi kits which are a waste of time anyway.

Thanks for the heads up Mac. This is good 411.

Great info Sarge!

I wonder who the 'mystery Marauder' belongs to? I sure hope they pop in and post lots of pics!

Even if they come a little more pricey then what is already offered I am sure they will still sell some units. It will be nice to see the results.

Interesting they'd go to that trouble rather than install one of the available Marauder specific kits.
I'm guessing of course that since used the KB kit for the '01 Cobra, they did this for a customer, and are not necessarily developing a whole new Marauder kit to market.

;) Folks the twin screw supercharger does have some advantages, but you must always stay focus on your goals for your MM. I have done a lot of research and communications with various force induction enginneers and experts over the pass 20 years and their is always one thing that is clear. YOU must know what you want out of your MM (vehicle). The Eaton superchargers are great at low boost (6-10lbs.) applications and that is why the OEM use them. The twin screw are great for mid-boost (11-16lbs.) on engines engineered for them Mercedes Benz E55,CLS55,CL55,S55, G55 and SL55. Yes the twin screw is a more efficient supercharger, but it is also a more expensive supercharger. For ME I think the ultimate MM would have a 03-04 Cobra long block and Trilogy kit pushing 16lbs. boost with a Whipple 2300 twin screw replacing the Eaton M112 (Jerry B. and Lidio are you listening). This would make a nice 600 hp MM.

Me too.

I was wondering when I was going to hear "Whipple" . That would be a major project getting it in and all hooked up. Lots of fabricating and re-wiring. But doable;)

I've had email contact with them.

They can do these but in-house only. No kit.

They asked for a link to our site to post pics and info, I supplied that along with the stipulation they contact Logan to deal with vendor posting issues.
