I need (or would like to) sell my 2003 Marauder.:bigcry: It's black with the dark interior, all original with the dealer installed rear spoiler and I added window tints and an autopage alarm system. The car is perfect and only has 11,900 miles as of today. What do you guys think I can get for it? I might post it ebay and/or the autotrader. Any advise would be greatly apreciated.

Where are you located? That will play into its real value.

I would say off the cuff $23K, maybe lower. Again, it depends how rare they are where you are. I think mine blue books for 18,5

Well to give you a idea, I paid $22,300 for my "Certified" 03 Marauder with 26,500k Miles on it. No Alarm No extra options. Im assuming with the low mileage, the fact that you may still have some Warranty left on it, and with the Extra's. IMO, I think you could Fetch anywhere between $22k-$24k. My Co-worker just bought a 04 that was Certified and fully loaded with only 16k miles on it and he paid $25,500 just 3 months ago.

These days, $22k for that car, and that's retail pricing in my mind.

Private Party, I'd have a hard time poppin' over $20k for it.

I would sell mine in a heartbeat for 24,500---Been watching ebay, no one can get 20,000 :( . The market is flooded with used cars with all the discounts on new ones. Not a good time to sell IMO. Anyone want an awesome 03A in the Chicago area pm me. 6 yr 75k ESP warranty too

I want to sell to buy a 30th Ann. Trans Am. I have always wanted one and I think the time has come. As for the car, I also have an extended warranty on it, but it's still under the 36yr/36K. I would sell for 22K.

You will take a big hit on the MM, which retails average for 22k-24k with under 12k miles and still has a warranty to buy a 7 year old car with an average retail of 23k-25k and approx 30k miles with probably no warranty, no room, and pay MORE in insurance. I have the bug to buy another car but have been down that road before and know it is not worth it. For the hell of it take it to a carmax and see what they will give, better hurry because in Oct. they consider it another year older.

You are a month too late!! I just paid 19k for an 03 with 30k miles. Good luck with it. I would guess you could get 21-23k for it as a private sale.

Your Marauder gets better gas mileage than the TA,
and it's a whole lot roomier...

1. I purchased my 03MM last February, 26700 miles on it for $20700.00 in New Smyrna Beach.

2. There was an 03MM 300A at Roswell (NM) Ford that I "Test Drove" last May. Only had 6800 miles on it and it was as new. Perfect. Stock. They were asking $22900.00 at the time. Told me they would let it go for $22000.00. My Nephew wanted to buy it, but could not afford it. Well, they just sold it a couple weeks ago for $19500.00. This car was worth every cent. I hope someone on this group got it because it was in better than showroom condition.

Go for the TA we had a 99 SS Camaro vert and it was the most troublefree reliable car we owned, plus a whole lot more fun to drive. My marauders being traded in or sold after the winter, too many thing to have gone wrong under warrenty dont want to keep the car once it expires. Gm's LS Seris powerplants are great on gas mileage too we used to get 30mpg in 6th gear on the highway in the camaro taking it from Long Island to Albany every other month. also got around 20mpg aroudn town too. the 30th aniversary TA is beautiful go for it.

You're on the mark on the room issue, but way out there on the mileage issue.

Ask me how I know.

Good luck with the purchase of the 30th ann. My '98 WS6 has so far been the best car I've ever owned, second only in reliability to my dearly missed '98 Civic 4 door.

I agree. I'd love to meet the engineering team behind the design of the LSx motors, 'cause I can tell you there'd be a whole lot of handshaking going around. It's not a perfect motor but if you're not beating it within an inch of its life or modifying it to death, it's the closest thing to indestructible.

I'm getting the same mileage as quoted above although just a tad higher (30-33 on the highway, and currently 22 in grocery-getting / errand-running / commuting). And no visits to the dealer.

Nice to hear from you again, /Steve.Yea ... what /\ he said ... long time no see !.

Weird ...

When I saw the gas mileage comparison comments ... I immeadiately thought of you - how I haven't seen you around & how you have said in the past, you have gotten at least 30mpg out of your WS6.

I'm now going to the Florida lottery website to browse photos of the pick 6 winners & think of how I could use some extra money. Perhaps I'm onto something.

I owned a 1993 T/A and i also miss that car. LT1 six speed. That car had awesome gas milage. 15 gallon tank, 65 MPH in sixth gear.....1500 RPM. I still have the information on that car, i may go back to california and by it back. I by another T/A in a heart beat...after i pay off the marauder.
