The tragedy of Katrina is just that,, a Tragedy. Until further notice, please keep all opinions of what happened and why, who is to blame, social implications of the tragedy, ETC. off the board. If you want to post url's for charitable organizations, donation sites etc. feel free to start a thread. DO NOT litter this car forum with political rants.

NOTHING and I do mean NOTHING pisses me off quicker than tossing around the censorship card. This isn't the friggin US Government and the 1st Amendment got checked at the door. This is a PRIVATE establishment. Every bit and byte you submit to this site ISN'T YOURS. You don't own it. Period.

Time and time again the issue of MODERATION on this site has come up and the community as a whole decided they LIKE the way this site is run and how we MODERATE the site.

Seriously, if you don't like it, get the hell off the site, how it's run has never been up for debate or discussion.

This is, first and foremost a automotive forum, not a current events website.

While we're all just as sickened and saddened by the aftermath of Katrina, there are a THOUSAND other places to discuss it that much better serve the discussion of such tragedies.

Back to the business at hand.
