I Maraudered a Vette

Today was such a nice day to take her out for a cruise and to do a search for 94 octane , ok. Well i stopped at a light and all the sudden an dark orange corvette convert(looked brand new to me and don't ask i don't know what the difference of those things are) flies up and sits next to me looking at her(my car) and giving her a look i didn't like(what a dick)so he edges up pass me and i'm right there with him.i'm thinkin ok knuklehead it's on!.the light changes and right from the start i'm 2 full cars ahead and he's trying oh so hard to catch up to me but to no avail i just kept pulling away slowly but surely until i just gave up and let him go ..then a mustang follows behind him and gives me the thumbs up .Ahhh what a day and what a car:up:..

Just be carefull which vette you race. My buddy Eric has an 05 and this weekend in the All Night Street Drags he ran 10.20 ... This is a great time but not as fast as the Fox body Mustang LX that ran a 9.9. (WOW!)

And this is on DOT Street tires (drag radials) and street legal exhaust.

I was going to run the "Quick 8" myself but then found out it is not bracket but a pro tree straight up. When Eric told me he was going to run I decided to keep my $20 in my pocket.
