Drive with 35psi of air in your tires on the highway?

I was doing some spirited driving on the way back from the loop with an STS, an Audi, and a BMW and my suspension and steering feedback felt like I was driving..well..a worn out Town Car. I never thought 5 psi of air would make such a night and day difference. I lowered it two nights ago after performing the oil change as I noticed, very slightly, and I believe Mac knows when I mean a "Tad" that the center was wearing a little quicker than the rest. I brought it down five pounds and figured I'd keep it there for a little while.

It is a little smoother around town though  Back to 40 psi!

Our Marauders need stiff sidewalls to endure a lot of twisty driving. This is one of the reasons I like Pirelli over others, sidewall construction and durability is probably the best in the business.

I could trade a few PSI for comfort, but I have come to prefer the road feedback from 40 PSI. There's no missing the early warning when you're approaching the edge of adhesiion.

I have 35 PSI in my tires and Lately I feel like I'm all over the road, My handling feels numb and the Car just felt like it lost its Nimble Handling all of a sudden. I was getting ready this weekend to go through all my shocks and springs but After reading this, I shall put the Air to 40psi and have a whirl with it
Hope this saved me a few hours of useless work!!
Thanks!!!

Is it recommended for 40 psi front and rear? I know the 40 psi in the rear is also supposed to help with tire wear, but what about the front?

I am taking the tire gauge with me to Chicago on Friday when I pick up the Marauder and make sure I set the tire air pressure prior to the trip back home.

I have had 40 psi with the OEM fronts since day one. I am now at 24k+ miles and they wear evenly. The rears are KDW2s and I have also kept them at 40 psi since 14k miles and just recently I noticed them wearing a "Tad" more in the center. I think it was all in my head though.
