Well, good news guys! Turns out I waited long enough to order my free tickets that the window to get them closed - so I cannot go to Sixflags.

We're working over the weekend next weekend, but I don't think it's going to be all weekend. So, I'm a highly probable instead of just a maybe. :)

I'm actually working this weekend, I'm gonna be tired, I'm in Columbus for the weekend. I drove up Friday night after working in the morning, been working since 8am today, and I'm working tommorrow but leaving at 5pm which should put me back in the DC area around 12am or 1am depending on when I get outta here.

Luckily next weekend I've made it clear I'm not going far away from home on the weekend.

The only other thing that could get in the way is I think we're having a birthday celebration for my grandfather, either Saturday or Sunday, but I heard maybe Saturday. I told my parents Sunday sounds better. :) Unless of course he'd like to come see some Marauders!

I printed a map, and it looks like getting off of 695 at exit 31C will put us on MD 43, a straight shot to Perry Hall Blvd. then a left to Honeygo Blvd. (That is, if we're headed East on 695)

It's a possibilty....never been that way before. How long does it take to get to Bal'mor going that way? It could be a little/ closer/faster, or not, but there's less minutes spent on the interstate, (a good thing) and the ride on 140 to Westminster through Taneytown is a pleasant drive through the countryside. :)

I'll be headed up about 11-11:30 PM for anyone interested on the southern route. I'll be taking I-95N, I-495E, US 50E, MD 3N, I-97N, I-895 (Old Tunnel), I-95N to White Marsh. :D Well, it ain't that bad, but I didn't know how much trouble it was for anyone to make a cruise out of it, as we approached Balmer. Anyway, it's gonna me Me & Barb hooking up with Gordon & Chris at Emmitsburg, then taking MD 140 through Taneytown & Westminster, hitting the beltway at Reisterstown. We'll try to get there a little early so we can stand around outside and look at Mark's MM. :)

Last time I was there, I parked in the mall lot near the edge closest to the entrance to "The Avenue" and the Red Brick Station. That may be the best location to get all of us together. The lot behind the Red Brick Station may not have enough openings for 10-12 Marauders or however many might be there.

You can use Google Maps to get a aerial view of the lots. :rolleyes:

My friend Harry who owns Tender Touch Mobile Detailing will be there if anyone is interested in having their MM done by one of the best in the business. Prices are extremely reasonable. Sorry to ruin the fun, but I won't be making it today. Gotta work this morning and then again this evening, and in between it's my mom's b-day AND my grandfathers 80th b-day celebration I can't really miss. Between that my dad wants me to go with him to buy a used car for my mom...

I'm sorry to miss it, especially planned so much. This weekend turned out to be totally against me! I had cleared a lot of things out of the way but early this week I found out about the rest of the families plans and got stuck with some weekend work.

Pics looked great! Lot's of Marauders there! Real sorry I missed it. But, I did what I had to do, and had a decent time. Went with my dad to look at Sevilles, but didn't find anything we really liked, and we ended up buying a Lincoln Continental...a 2002.

It has our engine, detuned a bit, but the Intech 32V V8...it's put in the wrong way though!

The continental is FWD...

I didn't want to get one for that reason, but my dad figured it would be better for my mom.

She loves the car, so all is well. It's not a bad car, has some decent power and nice appointments. Still would rather a Town Car with the Intech...why they don't put the 32v engine in their flagship town car is certainly odd...

Still, glad you guys had a good time, the pics were great. Barring any unforseen plans I do believe I will see you all at the October meet.
