Dennis,

I purchased a 9100 from you awhile back.

At the time, I did not intend to change the plugs or thermostat, but they have now been changed.

Is there any difference in the tune you would have loaded/sent me based upon that fact ?.

Do I NOW ... need to go back in & change anything via the tuner ?.

Fan turn on temps or anything ?.

I cant recall all the stuff that could be changed by the user, & I never got a manual. I have yet to find much technical nitty gritty online anywhere(did a google). Even the sctflash.com website doesn't have much to say about them anymore, let alone the ability to download a user manual.

I even spoke with someone there via phone awhile back ...

They didn't even have any copies of the manual they could send via email.

Thanks for your time.

Indeed, technology has swept past us. My 9100 is just about a year old now, and when I compare it's features to what SCT's Xcal2 HHP, and their Raptor and ProRacer software packages can do for me today, I feel like I'm back in the Dark Ages.

Nonetheless, the 9100 works for me. I did the SCT chip in '02, and the new 4 position "flip chip" in '03, both of which were neat upgrades, then, but are just plain clunky now, when compared to the SCT 9100 HHP. The difference between chips and HHPs, is as drastic as the difference between the 9100 and the Xcal2, and today's technology.

Oh well, I suppose I shouldn't whine about it. I've had a lot of fun too. I've worn out three sets of tires in that same time frame with OTR trips, burnouts and drag racing. I guess you gotta pay as you go, and as one of my favorite TV News personalities used to say..."And so it goes..."
