Don't like 'em. Looks like the car has white walls on it. That's just my opinion. I have to agree with martyo on this one. It does look like white walls. But the main thing is if you like them.

If you want stock, I always see Marauder wheels on ebay for decent


prices. As for those wheels, they look good but, I think the stock Marauder

wheels look bad a$$. Just my opinion :cool:

What offset do they come in?

These wheels are the 18" x 9" (+38mm offset with 6.55" backspace). They are 5-lug (5 on 4 ½).

He modified the mounts and dropped the engine 3 inches for the extra clearance. ;) I thought it would be cheaper and easier just to remove the ice !! :rofl: J/K

He's thinking about adding an "under the hood Icemaker". ;) Figures it'll pay for itself in about 100 more trips to the drag strip. :rolleyes: So, who makes the best Icemaker :argue: !!! :lol: J/K, again !!!

The reason I ask is I did some test fitting of different offsets on my car. +35 +45 +49. I didn't care for any of them except the +49. So I would think that the +38 is going to make the tires / rims stick out too much. May be a personal taste sort of thing.

This may have already been asked but what about 03 cobra rims? I see a few mustang rims on Marauders so would those fit? I think they would look awsome especially if they were painted black. Could any photochop that?

I love the stock Marauder wheels, but I also like the look of black wheels on a black car. I would prefer them to be completely blacked out, not just the spokes. No shiny circle around the edge.

Hmmm, wonder how those would look on a silver birch? My son John had 'em on his Mineral Grey Mustang GT, and they looked very nice. I wish I had thought to try 'em. :thinker:

I agree with Marty, though about the bright trim ring. All black would do it for me.:)

I might go with chrome myself, but the black looks good also.
Black wheels on a red marauder would probably rock.
No matter what color you go with the bullit/torque thrust style look way cool.

I agree-I am still looking for ALL black (with no fake rivets or fake bolt heads), no shiney rim. Or Teflon coated grey!

Well i took the plunge today and got the black wheels for $995 plus tires. I also ordered a rear swaybar kit from dennis. And i got my keys programed from ford and got the marauder started for the first time. So all i got left is to paint it and it will be ready to drive. :burnout:

I'm trying to remember did you buy your Marauder as a salvage title? or was it part of a theft recovery?
Did you order the "deep dish" wheels? or the 2005 stock mustang?

:confused: That really isn't Barry's car....it's the ice machine on wheels that he stole from a hotel. He also happened to find that it moves real fast too, so he took it to the dragstrip.

Why on earth would you want to replace the originals? I get more complements about my Black Marauder with Light Flint interior than I ever dreamed of and the first thing everybody complements is the stock rims. Members can disagree with me but I think the stock rims are the coolest part of the exterior, followed by the chromed exhaust tips and the all black stealth look of the whole car. I've been driving since 1962 (nothing but full sized Mercs since 1977) and have never seen a hotter looking ride than the 2003-2004 Marauders. My philosophy is if it ain't broke don't fix it and nothing needs improving on a Marauder if you ask me. How can you improve on a classic work of art? You wouldn't change the Mona Lisa would you?

05-06 Mustang Wheels are a direct fit for 03+ Panther Cars (Marauders included)

I like the photoshop, better than the same rims on my Sport.:D

I never really liked chrome alot, unless it was on a car from the 50s.

I like the steathly approach with dark rims with a polished lip.

Little bit of bling with a menacing look.
