Earlier this year I ordered and received the deck lid cover from Inovative Interceptors and loved it. It took a while to get here, but it was great! So...... I ordered another for a friend as a gift.

the order was taken, and my credit card was charged for the second cover. I e-mailed Wes at this company a few times and he said he would forward it to Scott who took care of these. Since then, I still have not reveived the deck lid cover, never heard from Scott and now no response from Wes.

Any one had similar experiences or have any suggestions on how to get either the deck lid cover delivered or my money back?

Any one had similar experiences or have any suggestions on how to get either the deck lid cover delivered or my money back?If you sent PM's to them, I wouldn't put much faith in it. I've had quite a few PM's that just NEVER made it to people on here(which I could see for myself, they were never viewed, as if they never existed).

I'd pick up the phone & try Wes directly, I'm sure he will get you squared away.

I'm in the same boat. My PM got no response either.

After you buy a product you really want, wait and wait, don't get told about production stopage until pushed, and then your PM for a refund somehow doesn't get to where it's going, my vendor confidence is beginning to take a ding. I could be overthinking this, but wouldn't you expect a vendor to already know who's paid orders didn't get filled?

I'll give Wes a call direct tomorrow too. I'm sure your right - it's a simple matter to work out. Would rather have had the product, but at this point just a refund would sufice. Thanks.

Dispute the charges with the credit card company. They'll investigate it for you. I've done this twice in my life and both times I've gotten my money back. Its really simple.

This doesn't sound good for the trunk liner that I won at the MV III raffle. :(

Now listen her'a people. There ain't NOTHING wrong with the PM system. Alot of folks, A) Don't check them regularly, B) Don't or many not want to talk to you, C) Some people have the ability to deny receipt messages. Which would make you think the message has never been read.

I have PM/EMailed everyone in this email that has had concerns about the liners.

And, I will see to it that Scott will manufacture a liner for you, or I will remove the one off of my car personally for you.

Wes Wes at Innovative is rock solid, and I knew he would make this right. He generously agreed to give me a great price and buy my 1725 back, when I bought a 9100 from someone else months later and didn't even give him the business. He also sent me a free Godshead valve stem cap, breaking up a set in the process that he could have sold, when I stupidly didn't install one correctly and spun it off in the Arizona desert. S&^% happens unfortunately, and the mark of a good businessman is that he stands up when that happens.

I thought this was a good deal and a good liner, which is why I bought one, but there is a very nice alternative now for not much more $, from equally responsive guys.

Just an FYI: credit refunds on you credit card can take up to a month to show up. I know this does not make sense, while an actual charge can or will show up within a couple of days. I have a credit card terminal at work and when I have issued a "credit" to a customer, the customer rep has told me that a credit can take up to 1 month to appear. :(

Thanks Wes,
Any help would be appreciated. At this point, I'd be satisfied with an update on the shipping status. Last I heard, it was getting ready for shipment back on 29 August.

Just for the record, Wes stepped up and has e-mailed me and gave me his word that he would work things out! Now thats the way a stand up businessman does business. Havn't heard fro Scott, but Wes said that they will make good on the deck liner!

Exactly. Wes is an honest guy. This whole thread could have been avoided by people simply making a telephone call to him first.

It's fine to make a public issue of a problem with vendors, but best after all avenues have been exhausted.
