I am considering purchasing this and would like to know if any members out there have this or think it is worth the cost?

Thanks in advance,

Mike.

For $25 you can't go wrong. I ordered the hard copy from Helm, they cost considerably more.

I didn't read through all of the material. Just make sure the material is not time restricted.

Most dealer obtained DVD's will only work for a number of months. Most of the non-published DVD's are copies of what the dealerships get.

I purchased this DVD several months ago and have referred to it numerous times. It's great. Actually, it covers the full FOMOCO product line from 2000 through 2004 including trucks. It IS is copy though. :)

I'm not real happy with the Service Manual CD...
In comparision to the repair Manuals I have used...it's just not as informative...
Could be that the aftermaket manuals are written for people who are not
top trained mechanics...
An example would be to remove the consol top/liner...the CD directions are
"Remove the Consol interior liner"...but it doesn't say how....where are the anchors? etc....
I think I'm still going to spend the big bucks and get a book manual....
Just my humble opinion...
Walt.

Thanks for your feedback Walt.

Is it not worth the ~$25.00?

Old thread, I know, but need info/advice on the 2003 Crown Victoria Grand Marquis and Marauder Workshop Manual.

How detailed is this manual? Will it allow me to troubleshoot, DIY repairs?

Is there another manual that anyone would recommend, or better yet, does anyone have a used copy of a Service-Repair Manual that they'd be willing to sell?

You know you should be asking our man fastblackmerc this--he knows ---whatever you need....

I got mine off of Ebay, same manual as the Grand Marquis/CV, I think I paid $30 for both the electrical and the mechanical manuals. Do a search on ebay.

I'll vouch for that seller as well. Here's a tip though.......Make sure to check all the auctions they're running as sometimes they have multiple manuals (same year) for different prices. :)

I got my electrical manual from blackhat, too. I paid 8.95 + shipping and I'm very happy with it. I got my serivce manual from a seller named oharas prime array, for $44.99 + shipping. I'm happy with that too, only one page had a rip, but nothing scotch tape couldn't cure. It was right around the page covering wacky wipers. Imagine somebody having problems with the wipers. :P

I got mine when it was marked 30% off. Here's a link to their site.
