Nitto Mail Order Prices? Best Deal?

Ok...Can anyone that has purchased the 305 Nitto Drag Radials via mail order recently speak up....where and how much...looking for a good deal. My source here wants way too much now. I remember someone saying they found a place with a good price, and shipping was free. Help a brother out?!

I went through all of the mail order bullsh##. I took my tires and rims to a local dealer to get the tires de-mounted. While waiting (he did not charge to de-mount) I noticed that the dealer carried NItto tires. I asked him if he could compete with the "internet" dealers and he said no, he had "brick and morter, (overhead). I asked him for a price anyway and he quoted me $3.00 over the best price I have seen on the internet. With the local dealer, I do not have to pay shipping and I have a local provider if something goes wrong during warranty. NEVER SHORTCHANGE YOUR LOCAL PROVIDER

I usually do go local, thats why I asked about mail order, its new territory for me. but my best price locally, at my usual tire dealer was $580 for a set, that is $290 each. I will get them shipped free, and heat cycled and delivered for $496, thats $233 each and $15 each for heat cycling. Seems like a no brainer, dont you think?

You would be welcome to them, but one was so thin it got a piece of metal shaving in it on the way home from MVIII, was flat by the time I got home. Mike Z is replacing his, but they are as smoked as mine. Brad is right, you need better than these are. They really went south and were useless for traction.

Discount Tire quoted me $600 for a complete set of Nitto NT555's and my local tire guy quoted $660...installed....ballanced. ..with tax!! :beer:

I'll have to agree that the local guy will get the business especially when the mail order guy tried his best to sell me additional warranty for about $15.00 a tire....equates to "AP" (addtional profit) where I come from!!! :argue:
