I had the pleasure of seeing Mike, Elaine, and a couple of his co-horts at the track on Wed. night. Good news to all the New England racers, we've got another one hooked! :banana2: I had fun, ran pretty well, considering the summer-like conditions, and learned that I'm pretty fast compared to a lot of the "street car" competition. I managed to beat a Kenny Brown Crown Vic, a BWM (complete with keys in the trunk), a pretty fast Honda, and a SS Camaro (some luck involved with this one). I lost to a purpose built 55 Chevy, which looked so good I ended up watching his launch while sitting at the green light for 1.2xx seconds, and an '03 Cobra also smoked me (note to self, BOOST). Best part of the racing, when I got focused lights were pretty good (.594, .514). Best part of the night, hanging with and racing with good folks and my son.

Need to have you at SSHS5 with all of your recent track experience. I do not see many MM owners signed-up on their website??

Glenn, everytime I go to the track the ultimate reason is to practice for the shootout! My favorite event. It looks like I'll be there again this year, but until I find out for sure I'm waiting to register. I should know more in the next couple weeks.
SteveS, we'd love for you to come. Later this week when I find out my work schedule (i.e. my return date) Mike and I had planned on another trip. I'm making a mental note to pm you when we get this set. Mid October anyway. Cool nights means better times!
