I can't even complete the list of problems I have! As for my MM, the only problem so far is that I cannot shrink time and make September 24 be today. WTF do you expect with a machine that has over 5000 (just guessing) individual parts. Things break, things wear out, things/***** happens, especially when you drive this car like it supposed to be driven... wide open at any given opportunity. Just my .02

:coolman: Yeah mine has had it's share of problems, but you know what? It don't mean a thing, because it still make me smile every time I get behind the wheel. To me that means a lot, and I still have to put on "my mods"!

I'm taking care of mine little by little and well have an extended warranty for the future ones.

the reason why iam asking is because my warranty expires in 2 months and my idle has been bad for at least 2yrs and now its worse. i have all the paper work from the other dealers that shows that i went in for that problem. iam afraid of them telling me the same old story " the computer doesnt show codes so theres nothing wrong and i guess you'll have to bring it in when it breaks" :fire: what do you guys think?

... the same old story " the computer doesnt show codes so there's nothing wrong and i guess you'll have to bring it in when it breaks" :fire: what do you guys think? That's major bull$h!t. Don't ever take crap like that from a dealership. The best way to work this type of problem is to take it back the next day and howl it isn't fixed, it's doing it again, etc. Demand a loaner until it is fixed. Be persistent until you're satisfied. Take it to another dealership if you have to. Just don't stop complaining.

Maybe you can try to leverage a real concern for them to fix it by bringing up the possibility of a lemon law buy back, after all the recurring problem never got fixed. Be as diplomatic as you can because this line they've been using (no problem found) is one that's taught in the "Lemon Law Prevention School" most manufacturers seem to have. It's not a formal school but I remember the service managers at several delerships I worked for having group discussions with the techs about not working on something under warranty unless they were sure it was something they could fix. Once they admit there is a problem, it's pretty much a goner as far as winning a case against the buy back law. So this is often the line you get from dealerships that just don't have very good techs.
