If you see a few Harley trucks parked togeather in the show area on sunday stop and say hi, should be 2 05 f350s, one with a huge 8 inch lift, and a few 02-03 f150s, Im not completly sure I can make it yet but Im gonna try!

I won the Best Marauder Award at the FFW car show. Somehow, I knew that I had the best MM. Surely it had nothing to do with the fact that it was the ONLY MM at the show.

I think they gave out class wins if you could stand the heat. It was hot, hot, hot. So, if you show, you will win. It was sorta like the TV show Survivor.

In spite of the heat, there was great action on the track. There were several cars with 6.5 second runs. It's just incredible that you can have a car with a body that runs that fast with an engine based on the Ford 5.0.

A note to TXHaryley guy. I saw several nice HD trucks including the one you mentioned with the lifts. Wow.

Congrats on the award Redster! .. I did make it, mine was the 2 tone one, I cant believe I won something too .. I fooled someone!
I did get over and check out your MM, nice ride, I didnt see you pull in or I woulda came and said hi, guess we were at the vendors area or something.
Davids truck is nice, as clean as he keeps it its hard to believe he really does take it off road.
It was kinda hot wasnt it? Thank god that guy in the corner with the Lightning shared his tent with us.
David, the big 4x4, and Mumbly, the grey one with the wild paint job, also won in the truck class.

All kidding aside, the folks there were very nice to me. I had several great comments about the car. One of the judges even spoke to me about it. I think they created a special class just for me.

Congratulations, Rod. BTW, it was one year ago that I met you there. That was the first of the Dallas area members I ran into. Jeremy in Longview was actually the first member that I met at the Hallsville track, but I missed everyone else there.

I was there Saterday and entered the car show but the judging was over by the time I got registered but it was fun anyway. I had a lot of people ask about my cars and got to see some realy great racing. I wish I had gone on Sunday instead though. :cool:
