What a day!!
It all started with the Milan video compilation, then a quick detail job on the Defyant Marauder. Meet up with Seneca, then MarauderMark and MarauderPeg S/B I-95. A smooth cruise to Red Brick and the group came together.
A quick smooze over for the security guard, and we were OK (for now). After a delicious lunch with a great group of MM.Net members, and one newbe who has yet to introduce himself (nudge nudge, we know your there), we returned to the pack of 14 Marauders.
Lots of laughs, tech talk and war stories, and security was back. "You got to go" they said. Us 30+ old guys and gals were bothering the mall management they said. More like, "I have some power and athority over you on this lot and you will do as I say! So there! Nanny nanny boo boo"
One security guy was very interested in our rides. He was provided several MM.net cards. I figure, hell, if we can assimilate him and his buddies..... you get the point.
So we moved our convoy to the Park and Ride. This was a convoy only rivaled by the MVIII road trips. Talk about turning heads!
We got to the PnR, lined up and had more hang out time!
And then MarauderMark, MarauderPeg and I left.... People on I-95 North gave us more of those curious looks.....;)
Us: :burn: :burn:
Them: :D  :loco: :awe:
Man we had some major problems at the end of the meet. I had the fuel line slip away from the fuel filter and was spraying gas all over the exhaust. Luckly I was able to hop a curb and put a new clip on the front filter line. I picked up the new fuel line clips last week at the dealership. I think I dumped a few gallons in the park and ride parking area we were gathered at.
Then on the way to Annapolis we witnessed this 4 car accident. A Acura RL at high speed ran into the rear of the car you see in the picture. Once on the grass the car spun sideways and became airborne and had four passangers onboard. Two ofther vechcles got into a accident in the process of witnessing the first accident, what a mess.

The Rewards For Justice Program, United States Department of State, is offering a reward of up to $25 million for information leading directly to the apprehension or conviction of Brutus. An additional $2 million is being offered through a program developed and funded by the Airline Pilots Association and the Air Transport Association. If you have seen this man contact the FBI. He is considered armed and dangerous and pretty darn ugly.

I was really feeling guilty about leaving my family at home, but after a few beers I can't remember thier names.

Chris and I had a real go time, we will have to go back there for a future meet. CHB, thanks for suggesting the 'Red Brick Station' next time have the detailing guys meet us at the PnR. Also can the owner reserve the parking places out front for us and we could have a car show there? It was good seeing everyone again especially those members that have been absent for a while. Bob & Dot, Jeff& Jullie (Mom) and Gordon & Joan. CAM is growing if all the members can be in one place at one time we should have close to 20 Cars and 30 members or so. Next we will need jackets with the MM.net logo saying Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
It was good seeing everyone again. Some had suggest another Dyno day at kauffman's. How many are interested? Let me know and if we have enough interest I will set something up for eary November.
Oh I almost forgot I have a new Mother-in-law. Hi Barb.

At the meet saturday.my wife showed me the scratch which didnt really bother me but last night i started to put 2 and 2 together and went down to the car to check cause i didnt relize it and sure enough its gone (ash tray).nothing was in it .but whoever it was was short cause they had to rub against the door to grab it.. This happened in the time frame of after eating until my wife got in the car to cool down..
1st 2 pics are of the scratch and the last one is of where the ashtray was .In the console drivers side hole.

Mark, Did you search your car? Are you certian the ash tray was there? I know you looked.. but look again. I do not want to believe a CAM member lifted the property of another...and damaged a car too!

Mark, sorry to hear about this incident ... but I kinda feel the same as Charlie above ^^^^. :(
Just before dinner was served at the restaurant, I noticed a couple guys across the lot that were wandering around and looking at the cars and peeking in the windows. I asked Joe and Jeff for some assistance and the three of us walked on over to the lot to check things out, approach the guys, and make sure everything was OK. :D The guy was another MM owner (not a member) who just happened to see the gathering and stopped to check it out. All of the cars appeared to be locked and secured and after checking the guys out ... decided that it was OK to head back over to the restaurant. Unless your window was open at that time (and I didn't notice at the time) .... I can't think of another time that this damage/theft may have happened.
