Well, the folks down here in Miami are going hurricane crazy again. Scared by the surprise Katrina left us 3 weeks ago, the stores are madhouses, the gas stations have lines forming and the shutters are going up. Yes, it's likely Hurricane Rita will be upon us tonight into tomorrow. Joy!

Don't you just love Florida? :)

Q: What's the new Official Florida State Bird?

A: The Windblown Debris.

You guys down there keep your heads down, OK?

Well, she's a cat 1 since 9 this morning and the pressure has dropped tremendously. Rita's wind speeds should increase quickly and she will be in the gulf soon with nothing between her and Texas but some Oil Rigs. So gas is going to jump again and you guys and gals on the Texas coast get ready and good luck!
