Scott,
I think you can post mpegs in the gallery. I've never done it, but I remember seeing that discussed before. Hopefully someone that does know will pop in and help you. I just don't think you can do it with file management like you do photos.
Good luck, looking forward to seeing them.

I can probably host them on my site. How big are they? Let me know how big they are and I'll give you my email addy, too big though and I might not have room for them.
I can reopen FTP on my firewall at home, I have a linux box you could FTP them too if they are too big...it's not that hard if you've never done it, I just need to create a guest account for you.

Email them to me and I'll pull them down and host them for you. Prefer you put one file per email (total of 4 emails) incase my email limits total message size on an incoming.
My email was PM'ed to you...once I get 'em, I'll put them on the web and send you the links so you can post them if you'd like, or tell me and I''ll put the links directly here for you.
Let me know!

:banana::eek:
Man it must be nice to have friends in high places!
Can you give us anymore details on the "event"?
How did the car feel at 132? Was that in third or overdrive? Were you still accelerating or did you run out of HP?
Did it seem fast or is the track so huge/smooth that it was no big deal?
Is there still a dent in the wall where Ralf Schumaucher implanted his BMW F1 car?
This is so darn cool!
props to BK_GrandMarquis for hosting them!!

I am a 20 year cop and 17 year driving instructor teaching part time at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. I help teach an Advanced Instructors course where one day we go to Indy 500 and do high speed runs.
It had more speed but had to get off the gas for the corners. The track is not near as smooth as it looks and I have a alot of respect for teh real driver who can to 400 or 500 laps. the other days we teach the PIT tech or spinning someone out, not the ramming you see of TV.
All the turns are not the same as it looks with turn one being really hairy. If you dont hit your marks, you can be in real trouble.
The car was a little twitchy at tha speed especially when braking for the corners. Mine had more power left but not tons. Mine has a airbox and sct tune.
And at that speed the track dosent seem that big. I've been told i have nerves of steel but after about 6 laps, my hands where shaking.

Cool Scott, thanks for sharing the videos with us. Sorry I couldn't help you with that part. I also envy you for getting to run on the "bricks" in your own car. I get to run on the Daytona track next month, but unfortunately not in my MM, so I'll probably never know what it's really capable of doing.
