Well, back from Dinwiddie. It's pretty much a dead heat. The Marauder ran 14.40, 14.39, 14.39. and the Lincoln ran a 14.50, 14.44, 14.39. Awesome fun! The humidity and temperature hampered top end and et a little, but the drag radials helped the 60ft. All 60 ft's were in the 2.0 range. This Marauder is a bracket demon! It didn't matter if you stalled it or nailed it from idle, 14.39 all day :)

Thanks for posting the numbers. Is that a stock Marauder, if not what are the mods?

DR Chip, Stallion Convertor, Pullies, 4.10 gears, K&N Filter. The car has bested a 14.29 so far with cooler conditions.

Oh, by the way if anyone is interested, it weighed 4375 with me and 1/2 tank of fuel on those runs.

14.29 is your best? Really?

Wow...Hmmm...

I knew it, I just knew it...That K&N filter would slow things down...Damn!

Best to continue on and complete the upgrades, get those Denso plugs, and 180 stat...BTW, which drive shaft do you have installed?

I don't see what you mean about the filter? That was in there the whole time. As for the t-stat, It is already installed, just forgot to post it. Weather conditions is what hampered performance. It was about 15 degrees warmer than the previous run. Still running the stock driveshaft.

The Mark has a chip, 4.30 gears, MSD ignition, and full exhaust.

Just having some fun with you, Johnny, in my own absurd way. Nice times though.

Hey Sarge,

See...you put up too many of those serious (and helpful) posts...and the newbies don't know when you're just "joshin"...
