if it wasn't bad enough that were outta town due to Rita my MM is now spewing fuel near the fuel filter.

I JUST got out of the car and ran up to the room. The fuel should be evaporated in a minute or two.

anyone have any ideas? would a clogged fuel filter do that? just loose? I'm going to go down and take the filter out in about half an hour. waiting for the car to cool a little.

Crack the gas cap just in case.

Seems likely you have an obstruction.
Thier is a trick removing the clips from both sides of the filter.
I got spoon fed , (our mechanic did it)while changing the filter over recently.

Glad it was minor. You are having enough troubles already this week.

Good luck getting it fixed. You REALLY don't want to be losing fuel around here now.
