View Full Version : Ford Rebate history?

Faced with a choice of jumping on a 'wowee, really great deal!' rebate that's effective until the end of the month or waiting in anticipation for something nicer in April, I pose the following question:
Traditionally, what's been the rebate history throughout the spring months. I know there are slower months than others, and months where things pick up.
So, historically, how does April fare versus the other spring months? I'm not willing to wait until model year end clearance sales... the decision was made, a MM must be in my household by mid May.

Hard to predict. The stock market here in the U.S. just had its best week in 20 years. If things start booming, prices will go up....
Buy and enjoy now, that's my advice!

I agree with Mark. Buy now, cars sell better in the warmer months and the prices are likely to go up. IMHO. John

Buying "now" is what my heart really wants to do, but there are a lot of factors making it important for me to wring out the best deal possible.
I'm in the beginning stages of refinancing my mortgage for another 5 years maybe 10 if I get a good deal (the current 5 year period is up in a few months), I'm embarking on a total furnace/central-AC system install ($10k Can) for my house (currently only baseboard heating), and I'm giving up an ultra-reliable Honda (boring) that's costing me nothing for bad-a$$ yet $$ muscle machine. :help: I am a nervous wreck this weekend.
Tomorrow, round 3 begins. I attack the dealer with a low-ball offer, while approaching other dealers to get a feeler on what they're willing to do.
If all goes well and depending on further feedback in this thread, I'll be the proud owner of a MM by end of this coming week.
