Sanded them down smooth and polished them. For a finishing touch I put my old fender badges on them. Sorry for the pics. Hard to capture shiny stuff.

Sweet! And you have the flags mounted correctly too, they point to the front of the car. Bravo!
Hard to measure the extent of polish, but with enough elbow grease and time, you can buff them to a chrome like appearance, if you haven't done so yet.
If you don't like that slight indentation left over from the 'InTech 4V" badge, you can get that area filled in by an aluminum welder and polished down flat. If you need to know where, e-mail me at SergntMac@aol.com I'll hook you up with the right guy for the finishing touch.
Again, nice touch to the engine bay, consider adding the solid brass thumbscrews for a righteous finish.
Just a reminder to y'all, our member Wes Chain has custom plates that fit into that indentation, and you can have this plate engraved any way you want, in a variety of colors. Contact Wes Chain at Innovative Interceptors, he has a forum here.

Or nickel plate finish, as the case may be. Okay, you win, Martin.
I'm not going to arm wrestle with you over the internet, your resources are much greater than mine.
You impressed me with your support of my radiator problem two weeks ago, but now you trash all that effort with this crap.
Just send me your tab for your disappointment, eh? But, shut your whinny-azz up already, crybaby...
It was an exploration into new and undefined territory, not a "sure thing" for any of us. You took your chances as I took mine, or, so I thought.
I'm sorry you were not as pleased as I have been with the results. I gave you my word, and my word will replenish you pocket, if need be.
Done. Send me the bill. You will get reimbursed for all expenses because I have given you my word that I will. Once I complete this reimbursement, I expect to see 4 MM wheels (2 18X8, and 2 18X9.5) to be delivered to my door, looking as fine as they did delivered to your door, and for you to shut the ****** up.
Deal?

Holy hell Mac!
It was a farking joke! Chill out would ya? Maybe in your haste you missed the " :P " at the end of the post?
This wasn't directed at you but at the banter back and forth between a lot of folks on the chrome/nickel plating issue.
If I was going to ask you for something, I would have done it a long time ago.
I have so much going on in my life right now that I don't have time for the bickering.
You, on the other hand, let your paranoia get in the way at times -- this is one of those times.
Whatever. I am sure that a moderator will be along to clean this mess up any minute....

Adding anything to the cover with an indentation is sort of a waste to me since it is hidden by intake zip tube. In a stang that wouldn't be the case. The next thing I want to do is paint my cam covers and mabey the throttle body/intake elbow. Not sure if I'll go black red of yellow.
