Today while at the Gilmore Museum at Hickory Corners I took a few somewhat "Artsy" pictures of my car. I have never really took any real great background pictures of my car before. I hope you guys and gals like them.

Bigslim,

Nice pics. Pretty car and great group. Where were the shots taken? I love the ones at the "old timey" service station and the group shots at the DINER.:) Whose car has the TRILOGY decals? Thanks Dennis:beer:

Ok.... the DTR should go in the middle....
Then flank it with the two silvers (close the sunroof)
Then put the blacks on the ends !

Symmetry guys.... !

These were all taken at the IMOA event at Hickory Corners-Gilmore Museum outside of Kalamazoo Michigan. The Trilogy car is Jerry Barnes' (owner of Trilogy) first MM. It was the first car to receive the Trilogy supercharger and is the fastest yet to be recorded at 11.21 in the quarter mile.

I know. We were kind of burned out and it was just starting to rain a little bit so we knid of rushed it. Also, Steve Babcock had to leave so we wanted to get it before he left.

In the past, when I worked for car dealers & was in charge of inventory, I always tried to do break up colors. When you break up the colors, they have a more unique appeal to the eye(potential customer), then say 1/2 a dozen of the same side by side. Always try to do dark - light - dark - light etc etc.

Another neat trick I learned ...

When parking all of the SAME car side by side in a row ... & easy way to line up all the front & rears EVEN ... is to get one car situated first, then when parking the rest in the row, you use your side/rear view mirror as a guide to line up the remaining cars evenly. You line up the rear edge of your side view mirror, as closely as possible, to the rear edge of the mirror on the car next to you.

Works like a charm.

I'm still looking for some nice backdrops around me... Looks like you were able to find some! Some really nice pics, but I'm partial to the old time gas station... This one is my favorite :2thumbs:

If you don't really like cars I wouldn't go. It is a nice park but it is really about the cars. Also, there isn't really anything else around it for miles.

Very nice Pics !!! Now we know whose Silver Birch was used for the IMOA logo this year. That first set looks "exactly" like the original logo that they were considering. :D
