Question ref; retune

I have a question. Am i going to need a reflash (retune) when i add the stallion converter?

My current mods are; reinhert chip,4.10's,php intake spacer,plugs,stat,shaft.

I know its a short and simple question. I have read both... it will need to be retuned, and it will not need to be retuned...

Yes, and change your shift points and converter lockup point as well.

If you're just adding a Stalion TC, no retune is necessary. You may find that you want some shift changes after you test it for a while, but a reflash is not required after the install.

If you're rebuilding your tranny too, yes, adjustments to your present tune will be required, but again, test drive for a while so you determine what changes you want. Every tranny upgrade (naturally) produces slightly different results.

Thanks sarge, yes its two questions. I am adding the tc and also having the dr upgrade to the tranny. I didnt think the tranny upgrade would do anything except give me peace of mind. So, ill install it, do the upgrades, see if i like it... then call dennis. Just so long as i cant hurt anything. I dont take to the track or anything like that now.
