If I had my wheels stolen down there recently I'd be real interested in this fellow........ They don't assemble MMs in
Michigan.......

You just might want to have the serial numbers on the tires checked out before you plunk down any money. If you owned a MM and took the wheels off, I don't think you would say "Fireman's Hat" to describe the centers.

I heard from my local dealer, that their Milwaukee store had the wheels of several of their Marauders stolen.
This was in fall of 2002.
I find it very interesting that he apparently has 4 tires the same size? The picture only shows 235/50 ZR 18.
And he doesn't specify any other tire size.

I'm kind of an e-bay newbie...I've looked a lot, but never registered...or bought anything...
Wouldn't it be kind of stupid to try and sell stolen tires on such a public forum?
I know, I know..."duh"...and no, I didn't just fall off the turnip truck, but really...
And whatever happened to the one-of-a-kind Blue one that went for $15,000 over sticker?

That blue Marauder ended at $9100 after all the bid retractions. My guess is it was a no sale...
I don't think any Marauders have sold on ebay.

I don't think any Marauders have sold on ebay. The only one I've seen sold on Ebay was Logans. Several of the MM's were on Ebay more than once with a NO SALE. John

We first saw the Blue MM in Milwaukee, WI at the auto show. Our local dealer aquired the car. I saw the car on ebay and we went to the dealership to inquire about the car. They would not sell us the car until after the ebay auction had closed. We went to see the color in the daylight since the lights at the auto show couldn't be trusted. We went back to the dealer after the auction had closed and they tried to sell us the car but so many people had sat in the car that it looked worn. We ordered our own Blue MM. The car is still sitting on the lot today.

What a dork -- this is the seller's "correction":
On Mar-24-03 at 20:17:40 PST, seller added the following information:
I was just told that the emblem on the cap was not a fire cheifs cap,but of a greek god,MERCURY??? Who knew. Looks like a fire cheifs hat to me. Lean something everyday. Thanks emailer.
:uzi:
I e-mailed the guy yesterday about what sizes they were. I see that he updated the ad, saying 245's and 255's, but he has a picture of 235's. Hey, it is worth the price just for the "fire chief" caps!
